SFD can and will stand up for herself. But if youve followed this thing along, she’s definitely not trolling. She could be wrong, but most of her statements have been put together by adding up info, not providing info.

Adding up info, or taking info from “insiders” who say it absolutely will not happen, and turning it into it’s all a smokescreen because “Gruden most definitely wants the job?”

Then who's an ace in the hole, sure fire, instant impact guy?

If it's not Gruden which I feel it isn't
It's not any other high profile guy
We're looking at another "diamond in the rough hopeful"
Brohm or Fleck

**Fl has had a 2 wk head start on Frost**

Not directed at you, but Brohm is 4-6 and getting beat like a drum. I wish folks would stop mentioning him.

People who are saying it's just like 2012 are really saying that the EMOTIONS are the same. Not the facts. Because the facts are clearly NOT the same.

Most can't separate the emotional from the equation though. And so you have everyone convinced their hearts will be broken again.

Semantics! Insider info- mostly lies.

That's exact enough for me. Feel free to ignore me. Sick of your condescending posts toward me at this point, anyway.

I just put him on ignore. I know I'm not trolling and that's good enough for me.

just saw this lil gem

Butch Jones has eight 30-point losses in five seasons at Tennessee. Derek Dooley, Lane Kiffin and Phillip Fulmer combined for eight in the previous 20 seasons.

Are you saying there's a lack of coaching and player development? Preposterous!

Every minute butch is still the coach I can feel my testosterone dropping. I’m gonna be under a table crying and not caring about Daniela if this keeps up much longer.

You know what I believe. While I do not completely write off the chance of Gruden I am pretty sure our next coach is currently coaching elsewhere. I just do not see any way they can allow Butch to finish the season. They were very concerned about Homecoming being ugly just wait till the LSU game if they don't pull the trigger. Send in an interim the players can rally around and fans will be elated that Butch is gone. Maybe it would even bleed into the players if they went with a very well liked assistant as interim.

This is where I am..... I would be elated if Gruden were hired.... he has always been and remains my number one choice.... but realistically.. I don't see it anymore ..

I just don't know who at this point I think could turn this mess around

I literally can't think of a reason to keep him any longer. There is no chance of a bowl game. The kids have quit, the fans have quit, butch has quit. McBride might not survive the lsu game if our oline keeps playing the way it has.

We are at the utmost low we can be at.

And she followed up by putting me on ignore like she and anyone else in here does when they are called out or someone says something they don’t agree with. Classic.

I’m not able to read every post, downtown with my wife while she is taking senior pics for a girl, any press conference announced?

Show me the insider that says “it absolutely will not happen”. I don’t claim to know what she knows about Gruden definitely wanting the job. But that has literally been the only thing she has brought that was her own info...that has been pretty recent and she hasn’t exactly thrown that in people’s faces. Actually quite the opposite. In my opinion, that’s not trolling.

First, Gruden wants the job. This is his preferred job. Over all the other jobs. I have this on very good authority. I know. I know. Unnamed sources aren't tolerated. I don't really care.

Second, we believe all the boosters are now rowing in the same direction. The only problem then would be Currie standing in the way which would be career suicide. Unlikely. Although he may be hesitating to pull the butvh trigger because it wasn't his initial plan.

Third, these sorts of transitions are incredibly complex. It is silly to think this is as simple as firing one coach and hiring another. Information must be closely guarded. There is so.much.money at stake here on every side. Currie has a tremendously vested interest in misdirecting and sending out false info. These things happen all the time in the corporate world. The difference is there aren't fans of companies like P&G becoming OCD about reading a chat board over it.

This is completely ridiculous, but you do have the right to your opinion.

Wasn't directed towards you at all. My last post directed to you was that I was fine with your take on sources, and we could still celebrate together.

So...have a nice day, I guess. :)

Currie is really frustrating me at this point. I, for the life of me, can’t name one good reason why Butch Jones is still the head coach at Tennessee. Watched most of the game last night and that was the most embarrassing loss I can recall in a long time. To keep him at the helm is just going to sink the ship even further... makes me sick man.

If Currie's motivation for not dropping the axe is the slightest of possibilities that we make a bowl game, he needs to be fired with cause cause that's idiotic.

Agree - & she's provided support (cited posted info etc) for all of her conclusions- well almost all. (That comment about knowing UT is THE job Gruden wants based on a source is the only thing I can remember her not referencing with something more concrete. Having said that, I think she's built a reputation of being trustworthy so I accept her premise on that point.). It's a message board! It's up to the reader to discern what they think is reliable information.
