Keep up VFL....He doesn't come in normally till the afternoon.....Brent Hubbs is now talking about how the recruiting issue may cause JC to move now.

This. They have a meeting every Sunday after the games but it is usually in the afternoon after the light workout from what I understand.

I went back and watched the game last night since I couldn’t watch it live.. sat there shaking my head the majority of the game. We have kids that can play at a high level but it’s clear this is not going to happen anytime soon. The coaches demeaner on the sidelines was completely different in my opinion. Gillespie included. He is usually he hype guy always working to keep guys involved and even he looked deflated.

Does firing CBJ today really help? Or does the team know that the end is near and just going through the motions... I want him gone and I personally believe it should have already been done.

Give RG the helm and tell him....hype them up and have fun.

With that said, is it unreasonable to believe they may have just rescheduled this week to an earlier time? They do meet every Sunday. Maybe Currie had somewhere he had to be today .

I want gruden... but if we got a dan Mullen we would win the east consistently...look at it this way if Mullen goes to Florida then it will pretty much right us off if we don't get gruden... We would never catch back up to Florida and Georgia

Mullen is not coming here. We have a better chance of pleasing the Grudenites than hiring Mullen.

It took Mullen how many years to make a school with very low expectations relevant? These folks that are ok with Mullen must be the same folks that swallowed that "it takes 6 years to build a program" line from Butch. FWIW Mullens SEC record over his tenure at MSST -- 32-38.

We need to either get a true big dog or go the sensible route, which is to nab an up-and-comer like Frost, Brown or even Campbell.

Maybe, but Mullen would recruit better at UT. Who knows how good he can be with better talent.

Worse loss by a UT team in AP poll history, what does this mean...?

We got stomped by UGA 41-0? Also werent we beaten by 40+ in the 80s as well? forget who that was

whachutalkinboutwillis?

The original post about the AP was incomplete by whoever posted it. The 33 points we lost to MIZZ by last night was the worst loss TENNESSEE has ever had to a team that was NOT RANKED in the AP top 25 in the history of the university. UGA and Oregon etc were ranked teams, but UGA this year stands out on it's for worst home loss.

It’s miss state. The absolute gutter of the sec West and he had them #1 a few years ago. Is it the big time hire? No. But we could do a hell of a lot worse, just look at past hiring history. I see Mullen going to Florida fwiw.
