Hubbs reporting...

Of course you don't care... that's obvious by your comment about keeping Butch til the end of the season!

It's about salvaging what's left of the season and not having a historically bad year for UT. That's it. Find someone to MOTIVATE the team, not play like a dog with it's tail tucked between its legs. So tired of this defeatist attitude from our fans and players alike. It's a program killer.

The context for those comments were in regard to making sure this mess falls squarely where it belongs....in the lap of Butch Jomes. No excuses and no asterisk next to the season record. He doesn't get out or away from owning this. Again, I don't see any logically thinking fan truly believing that an interim is suddenly going to make these kids better football players in a weeks time. They aren't going to flip the schemes and start running the power I. This season is in the can. "Defeatist"? Hell, the best we can hope for is 6-6 and that's a monumental stretch considering LSU is next. So in my defeatist mind, I see no difference in 7 vs 8 losses. It's a losing season and we aren't going to avoid it.

Is hubbs a local personality? Reputable? If so why report on something that everyone else knows is normal?

So we're back to this being the fans' fault?

Lol

Apathy can ruin a program, not like this is some big secret... Never said it was the fans fault either... Just tired of a defeatist attitude from SOME of our fans and particularly our players, it's clear they've given up... it's as if the rest of the season doesn't matter to some of these guys, like they don't know what's at stake. If you are content with being served bull**** every Saturday then that's your prerogative I guess. Just don't expect the rest of us to swallow it down because some of your standards have reached an all-time low.

I was all for keeping Butch til the end of the season for BUYOUT reasons...now that's he completely lost the team and we are regressing... what's the point? Rip the frickin band-aid off already!

They had the right plan. Empty Neyland Stadium this weekend against LSU and you can bank it that they would make an immediate move. Unfortunately, when 70,000 lemmings show up thanks to free tickets you screw the pooch.

$$$ reign supreme $$$

Quit paying to watch this circus.

Do you guys have any idea how these players would feel to be tagged as the class that posted the worst losing season of 4-8..............and the feeling of any recruits with that stigma.............I hope we dont lose another game but it looks like we may lose both....this is terrible for recruiting and I hate for the players to be tagged that they were in the class that posted the 4-8 season

Look at what Scott did and Orgeron did. Someone with a new energy can do a lot for a squad that is completely sapped of motivation... especially if that lack of motivation is particularly because the team has to play under a head coach who they know has his foot out the door and is creating some locker room turmoil (speculation on the last part but probably accurate).

Agree with you wholeheartedly, in comparison however, if the next team with proper tutilege suddenly became a winner, the new recruits and staff would look like gods!

Why do you do this? Currie always comes in on Sunday.

Just go stick hot sewing needles in your eyes.

Drink from a puddle in the zoo.

Pound your hand with a hammer.

Got any other suggestions for OP and the 'Fahr Butch Now' crowd? This could be fun! 😅

Early morning meeting. These eggs were made with great resiliency, I'm using great eye coordination to get these pancakes on my fork, and how about 5 more years, and a pay raise coach? Besides the stands will be full next week at the LSU game our loyal fans love the product your putting on the field.:)

Yeah cause now at 0-6, empty neyland is the reason he should be fired....

Let's assume Currie has talked with Scott Frost, Dan Mullen or any other head coach who has his team in contention for a conference championship or major bowl bid. At what point does he announce CBJ is gone and [fill in the blank] is our new HC? As soon as this is announced that coach takes the chance of his players tanking. This is why I think the announcement of CBJ firing and the new HC is... ...... is being delayed. The delay is hurting recruiting, I agree. But if the right name is announced the recruits that decommited will come back IMHO
