Some trusted poster on volquest will come out with the infamous "guys it's happening" post. Some other guy who knew Cindy back in high school will come out with a "soon...can't say anymore" post. Enough already.

Thanks Currie for leaving Butch as the head coach and letting things get to this point, where we may not be attractive anymore for guys who we may have been able to get a few weeks ago. Whoever his guy is that he wants, he had better already had him locked down before the last few weeks.

I don’t know that I believe that. But I think we should kill the annual rivalry with Bama if we aren’t planning to make a grand slam hire. We should angle for a cross over rivalry with Arkansas since we are the Arky of the east.

“If I’m the next coach, I take McBride, JK, Chandler, Trey Smith, Eli Wolfe, Calloway and I build my offense around those guys next year.”

We’re not overly talented. We have talent on par with vandy and Kentucky across the ball. We should still win 7 maybe 8 games with a good coach. If somehow gaulden stays it would help us a lot.

You don’t have to have a great QB to win in college so I’m not overly worried about our current QB situation. Especially considering JG or WB can pick up 1st downs with their feet.

Fyi.... He's referring to swan man who is a highly respected poster there. He broke the kiffin news before anyone else. He is optimistic gruden is happening.
Also, larry is staying low because he doesn't believe gruden wants to coach in college or at all for that matter, not because the admin isn't going after him. He has stated that he is the #1 target and ad and boosters are aligned to get him.
