He's going to Georgia cause he's weak. As you said, a great player will make it to the NFL regardless of where he is. But this deal with Cade Mays shows his character. I'm typically not hard on kids who decide to not go to Tennessee. I didn't attack Tee Higgins last year when he chose Clemson.
But this deal with Cade Mays is different. He isn't just a local kid, he's also the son of a VFL. He has been committed for over 2 years and was one of the most vocal peer recruiters that put this class together. You would think this would be the one kid that is more loyal to the program than to the current staff or how things look.
Plus the fact he wants to go to a rival like Georgia instead that is riding high this year makes him look even weaker.
Cade Mays = frontrunner
I have seen Cade play several times and I know many people that know him directly and teach him at Catholic. Bottom line about Cade Mays: he possesses all the physical tools, but possesses none of the character tools that are necessary to be successful at the next two levels. I firmly believe Cade will be a bust, so it doesn't really bother me that he decommitted.
