From a resources standpoint yes, with that logic, then just about any coach could come here and be successful. We are behind as a program. Check the win loss column this year and we may not win another game, while other programs are moving ahead. Top tier talent is not going to look at Mullen coming in and say "yeah, okay, now that HE'S there, I'm gonna commit to UT"...
I know that Mullen is a better coach than Butch from a X's and O's standpoint, but I worry he will not be able to pull recruits while GA SC FL and AL continue to feast. We will be stuck with a solid coach with a roster of 3* that will be average again... You mentioned winning 8 games like that is a ceiling... I am not happy with, and I know most of the fanbase is not happy with 8, or we'd keep the Caretaker and roll the dice. We want someone coming in here that is going to take us to the next level and finally compete for championships, not get us 8 wins and that is what Mullen would do.... more of the same...

We have checkered Neyland, set attendance records, traveled well, made Tn the second most profitable program in the country, and have sold out the stadium to watch Butch Jones make us a laughingstock nationally. We even supported Derek freaking Dooley. TN fans love this team and these players. We are just sick and tired of the AD not loving us back.

If they want our money, they need to listen to us. That’s all empty Neyland was about. Had nothing to do with the players. I love all those guys. It had to do with Currie and the other guys up there refusing to care about us and continuing to trot our joke of a coach out there each week in spite of the poor play and the recent scandals.

And I don’t care what MacElroy thinks. He played for Bama, an AD who does whatever it takes to win. Who spends the money, makes the hires, does whatever is necessary to be a winner. He doesn’t understand. And he’s been one mocking our program for the past few years as well. So excuse me if I don’t give a crap what he thinks.

Quit shaming the fan base for actually caring about this team, these players, and this program. We deserve better than what they have given us. Our money is the only voice that we have. And if they make a garbage hire again, I hope nobody shows up next year.

You are a piss poor excuse for a fan and I am damn ashamed to be forced to be in the same fan base with your low rent scumb thinking that trashes our players by boycotting games and hoping they lose.

Justin Martin may have had a chance at getting drafted had he had a real coach at TN. But, instead, he got Butch Jones.

Haha no that's not me. DSV loves to mix it up with slight trolling at times. But he's repeatedly said tonight that he's serious about what he heard on Gruden. Others have vouched for him.

My apologies. All the Harbaugh talk previously has been about Jim, so I just saw Harbaugh and didn't even pay attention to the first name.

Tbh I don’t care if someone chooses not to attend a game for whatever reason. But if you have the tickets in hand, at least give them to some kids or something. Easy to take for granted watching a game a Neyland...good or bad team.
