Gruden isn't happening, dogs. I think Mullen can get us where we want to go. Just hope he's ready to leave Starkville.

You certainly seem all in on Mullen, why is that? What specifically does he bring to the table that would take us to the next level? I just don't see it, maybe I am missing something.
Please don't use the "UT sells itself" and "better facilities and location" because that doesn't fly anymore as to his actual coaching, and UT is now behind just about every program in the SEC other than a few, so it no longer sells itself.

Is anybody else concerned that currie didn’t do anything about the Antone situation?

I’m waiting to see if Antone actually filed formal complaints or is just setting himself up for something down the line. If Davis did go thru the process of formally making his issues known, then yes, that is a concern.

Something doesn’t totally add up. I don’t totally doubt his story, but other things are hard to understand about the position in general. It’s a (relatively) low pay position. Duties are poorly defined. Sterling Hinton mentioned several other parts of the dept are asking questions...why not one for women? Why not one for the entire AD? Davis was caught in the middle of all that.

It’s something that definitely needs to be addressed and corrected, but I can understand why it might not have risen to the highest levels as of yet.

New Grumor alert:

Fox Sports Knoxville just talked about it on the air apparently. Michael Gruden is going home for a family meeting. Apparently Jon is going to talk with the whole family about coaching at UT to make sure everyone is okay with that happening.

TIFWIW

Well good. You know he'll vote yes. He's have to transfer if JG doesn't come here haha.

Obviously I'm joking.

Finebaum and Laura just laid out a possible case for #Grudentothehill. Didnt say they thought he would just what if.

Behind in what? Tennessee can compete with just about anyone from a resources standpoint. If you don't already realize that Mullen is a really good coach there's not a lot I can say to convince you. His record speaks for itself. He's about to win 8 or more games for the 5th time at MSU. This will be the 8th time he's taken them to a bowl and he led them to their first ever #1 ranking. It's almost common sense to see that with the resources he would have at Tennessee he would most likely do very well IMO
