This is how I’m reading it. To the majority of people, it will be a boring meeting. But I bet you a dime to a dollar that there will be or has been a meeting today of helicopter ****s to settle this once and for all. So the votes that we actually see and hear at the meeting are as a result of the meeting we know nothing about that may have already happened last night or this am. Make sense?

Definitely!

Yes it is public. I don't expect to hear anything until after Saturday, if even then.

how can this be? if it's public, and they vote on something this big, how can they POSSIBLY keep it secret? not doubting you, i just don't understand.

but, again, this lines up with the scenario i threw out earlier about the events of this week.

EDIT: nevermind ... been answered. thanks. :hi:

I don't think Buc-ees are franchised. They are moving outside of Texas next year into Florida and either Alabama or Louisiana. Someday they'll be in Tennessee. Maybe send their corporate the story of MIT_Beaver and Volnugs and they will want to capitalize on the publicity and get to Tennessee sooner!

Privately owned. And better for it I think.

That is how the majority of large scale important meeting of committees and gov agencies go. Things are discussed long before you get to the table and rarely does the vote sways or surprises come, usually goes just like it should.

Legit

I may have misunderstood the question. I do not think the vote today will be overtly Gruden or no. It will be renovations or no. We will get the Gruden announcement later.

check.
thanks.

they vote yes on renovations then seems to indicate they accept the ergen/gruden deal, from whence comes the money. correct?

Didn’t realize that they weren’t franchised....ah, just as well....I’m waaaaaay to risk averse in my personal life to try something like that. :) but I think you’re on to something with that great marketing idea with Beaver and nugs!

Ok if I am piecing things together...there is no way that the BOT would vote to approve a massive renovation project with the threats of boosters pulling their money...so a yes vote would probably mean they feel safe that the large donations will be there...meaning that the majority of boosters will be happy.....meaning probably SOON???

Yes. Exactly.
