That’s what I was wondering.

It’s like a bill before the senate. A republican presents something he truly believes in but in order to get that passed, he has to put in a few concessions to appeal to a democrat. He may not agree with it but it’s far enough down his moral code that he can live with it as long as the major portion is passed.

So while Haslem has nothing against Gruden, Gruden is a part of the major bill that he doesn’t agree with. Gruden isn’t the mail deal, he’s the addendum. It’s not personal, it’s business.

My husband is from Houston. I had my first Buc-ee's experience in September. My life will never be the same. :thumbsup::yes:

Experience is a good word for it. It's became one of the must take places when people visit us. They've never seen anything quite like it.

I can't see Gruden being willing to get in the middle if that war.

If Gruden is our coach, then that means the war is over. Academic side is happy with their new funding, athletics are happy over not being a sh!tshow, and big Jim goes off to lick his wounds for a bit

I think he was in line until he realized what the deal means. That was the bump in the road. Now's he scrambling for an alternative only to find out there aren't any.
