Something that keeps popping up in my head that a poster responded to me I think yesterday...
I mentioned boosters being mad because of the last coaching hire, and he brought up the last AD hire.

I feel like Currie getting the job was the straw that broke the camel's back.
Apparently enough boosters were pissed that they swapped sides after this.

Exactly

I say we common fans have a Dish In/ Pilot Out protest.
We all go to the Pilot/Flying J headquarters.
We all have Big Dishes (biggest you have in your house and can easily hold up) and we form circles around Pilot J.
Also, have some signs....that can say:

There’s a new Sheriff at UT
Charlie Ergen Rocks.
Dish - yes/ Pilot- no
Haslams - we are over you.

* you guys I’m sure could come up with plenty.

Ah, what the he1!, it'll just end in a pishing match.

Then how come everybody wasn't screaming it after the game? If everybody watching saw it happening, why didn't anybody say anything?

interestingly the commentators during the game actually voiced that when he lined up off the ball that a player of his experience know better. So people who don't know him were questioning it, so why didn't our coaching staff?

Wow! I don't even remember you questioning me, but that's awful nice of you to say.

Well, it was more of us discussing. Nothing nasty by any means. I just assumed he was here to help like any insider. You saw more. We’re cool!

If any of this Ergen/Haslam stuff is true, which sure why not, it only further confirms what an absolute crap show this entire University and athletic department are. No wonder we've been toiling in obscurity for over a decade.

I absolutely never guarantee victory. Unethical to do so.

I would absolutely take this case and would name the university, Jones and Wells. Might go after med staff as well depending on what I found out. I would feel pretty confident in the case, as well.

Under what theory?

Seems to me under straight negligence you’re going to have a hard time proving causation and any damages. For a lifetime football player, even if you can prove that he was absolutely concussed against Kentucky, and also made to play, what damage did that one injury cause that is recoverable?

If he has a severely damaged brain, that one injury didn’t cause it all, and how do you prove how much of that damage was caused by the single event? If he has a brain that doesn’t show any real damage, how do you prove damages at all?

Edit: important to note that we literally have very little verifiable information. Without that, as an attorney, I’m not even confident speculating. But, as you are, help me see what you see.

So is this where PM and Phil come in? Are they the ones trying to bridge the gap between the "old way" of doing things....Haslam with he "new direction" the other boosters might want to go? PM and Phil could be the ones that have the most weight and influence with Haslam to get him to coalesce behind this movement.
