Thanks man! Just trying to stand up against lazy, AD driven "journalism". For lots of people, Jimmy is their main source for UT info which is sad. My goal was to point out that there's no way there's any validity to "Butch will keep his job if he wins out" type statements. Butch's actions or lack thereof totally go against that thought process.

You exposed him, and did it in a very kind and non-confrontational way.

We had a back and forth about me wanting Butch to stay over this very reason if you remember Boro. I said I didn't trust a new hire because the same puppeteers are still calling the shots. But they have one more shot to keep me as a UT fan and it better be a grand slam.

Was just stated that there are no visits with any uncommitted recruits planned for the rest of the season on Sport Talk Chattanooga 102.3. Obviously thats plain as day evidence Butch is out.

I have doubts here and there. I'm wired that way. I am hopeful that everything that has been sussed out ends up being true and Gruden is here.

That being said, if something happens and he isn't the hire, I'm not going to call anyone out for posting bad info.

Yesterday was Halloween. Watched the movie again. To quote Dr. Samuel Loomis:

If beave doesn't have a hidden agenda and Gruden is named coach, I will gladly eat my crow.

If Gruden or Harbaugh are not named coach, I will most likely check out anyway. Cause it will be a sad day for UT football. However, before that, if Gruden does indeed take a NFL job like I suspect he will, I will call out the posters who said he's not. Then I'll take my leave.
