Agreed her reputation is question. However, she's never waivered from that. Others were speculating too. Lower body injury..c'mon man

I thought Hurd got into Butch's dog house and Hurd was last years (locker room) mess.

Boy,
Looking at this season, Hurd was not the problem and I was wrong :cray:

This is lame. The University is responsible. He's a representative of the University. Even if he's not "in the process" technically, he has to own it. Can't just say, it's not my job. Makes it all seem like a cover up. He has to be human here and not just blame everyone else - whether it was his responsibility or not.

^this
He is after all the Caretaker of Tennessee Football

In a concussion protocol the SEC rep takes over on the sideline. If the SEC rep says a player can't go in, they can't go in.

But if it’s true that the player has to report to staff if they’re not feeling well, per Butchs policy, then he could be at fault. It may have never reached the SEC rep.

That's impossible! Beav, DTO, and others said it is a done deal. If it's a done deal there can be no "Google" coach.

Reputations on the line.

First one exposed: DocVol..."Butch will be fired following KY no matter if he wins or lose"

Next ones standing in line.

Millhouse is a hero. I've never cared about Jimmy's opinion enough to stay on hold and hold his feet to the fire. Glad somebody did.

Thanks man! Just trying to stand up against lazy, AD driven "journalism". For lots of people, Jimmy is their main source for UT info which is sad. My goal was to point out that there's no way there's any validity to "Butch will keep his job if he wins out" type statements. Butch's actions or lack thereof totally go against that thought process.

Absolutely no truth to it being the players responsibility to notify staff of an injury...

It is 100% the staffs responsibility to monitor the health of the players and prevent them from causing further injury. Concussions are nothing to play around with. Players are stubborn and will continue to go. The medical staff have every right to stop a player from putting their helmet back on

Well, if Butch is fired it will technically be "after" the KY game. That's where the "insiders" always have a way out...with vagueness.

Per Hyams again today....Currie not looking to remove Butch, hopes he wins out and he's able to keep him at UT.

Scary, because Hyams gets straight AD party line information. At least that information they want spread around.

Currie isn't that stupid. If Butch is still here season tickets plummet, recruiting tanks, less donatations, no hype, dead program. He has the financial freedom to delay now but after the season is over, he will start hurting the bottom line substantially. Therefore, i don't believe Currie is trying to keep Butch at all.

Clay Travis just said butch could be fired within the next 48 hours. Kendrick’s family is meeting with Currie and administration this afternoon.

"Could be." Hell, he could be fired within the next 6 hours. When you say "could be" you can state any time frame!

For what it’s worth, I grew up playing baseball and going to church with Brett Kendrick. He is a great guy and comes from a great family, so this news leaking about him having to play with a concussion has to be true in my eyes. Maybe that’s already been established. I know it’s a bit of a cool story bro type deal just thought I’d come out in support of the player and his family
