Everyones gone dark on everything, VFL's pulled all their tweets down, Atl disappeared, GTO left us, its getting cold out here in the dark. Im praying its a quiet before the storm. Maybe just maybe they were contacted by someone in the AD, and were told this is what we are doing, the reason why is because of JG. Please try and refrain from it getting out to respect Grudes wishes. Maybe...................

I'm going to cry myself to sleep when we put all our eggs in this long-shot hail mary Gruden basket, only for the "deal to fall through" at the last moment, while UF is now even odds to land Scott Frost as their next head coach, and then we are left hiring Mike Bobo....

Sorry....this thought process is just drilled into my mind due to the dumpster fire that is our athletic department. I have NO faith or reason to believe that THIS is the time they get it right.

But I remain hopeful!

All these folks who believe Gruden will be our next coach...would you be willing to wager say a 3 month hiatus from Volnation if he doesn't come?? Alot people say theu know a guy who saw a guy that saw Gruden and it's happening this time but that basically makes you D4H

I don't disagree. Honestly if all is true I can't see them not letting him coach the game as that would be a potential risk for the players health given his track record. But to further protect the university I could also see them not officially firing him with the attorneys review everything.

So yes I think if true we should have, or should, see an immediate response where he's effectively not the HC atleast for the game, but not truly dismissed yet.

Also feel that if Currie is trying to give BJ people time to find him another job Currie knows pulling him from his HC duties wouldn't exactly look well for other AD possibly wanting to hire Jones. But at the same time wouldn't matter because if we are able to terminate him with cause then it would be a better deal for the University.

I believe it the concussion is true the University would still be fine as long as the decision to not let him coach game day is made before said game day. And given how Currie is referred to as an AD who is meticulous with each move/decision he makes it makes perfect sense that he would give attorneys the few days to confirm there's no possible future implications that can come back on the university of the decision is made. Esp if he knew he had the work week to hash it all out.

Finally caught up from midnight - now. Wow, I don't know how you all can keep up with this crazy train. I'm retired and can't.

I'm off now to start dinner. Looking forward to being 50 pages behind when I get back.
