Sorry, I missed your first question. I don’t have much to offer in ways of rumors or insight. I have been reading volnation forums for years and never post. I just decided to point out that a lot of people on this thread are just slinging mud hoping something sticks, or trying to work Vol fans up.

I am rooting for Gruden, and would love to see some real insight into our chances of seeing him as the next coach.

I pretty much bring to this forum about as much as 99% of the people on here. And at least I haven’t mislead volnation.

I think if Butch and Antone came to blows... it probably wouldn't have been on multiple occasions. My guess is it would have been one and only one occasion. Antone's point would have gotten across...

Point #2 is out of Shoop's hands, but it certainly contributes. Point #3 (on the surface) would have to be put on Shoop. Point #1.....that's a big question mark for me. I find it hard to believe that the best we can come up with for 2nd string MLB is a former walk-on....which then raises the question about recruit evals and player development, and most of these players where inherited by Shoop. Is he as stubborn as Butch, or is he doing the best he can with what he has to work with?

You can't make chicken salad out of chicken sh!t.

Ahh...perhaps defended until she had more facts herself. That makes sense.

And now with the explosion/implosion that is happening, she is probably more comfortable taking a new position.

Then he went on to speak of the GLOWING reasons TN would be able to pull ANY recruit (facilities, stadium, fans, etc.) Guy is talking out both sides of his mouth. We can pull a big time coach if we choose for the same reasons, especially if everyone is on the same page! JMO.
