Wow, somehow you read his entire post and didn't get any of it. The articles, if they turn out to be tnt truth, STILL NEVER say anything about CBJ being aware that BK had a concussion and purposely putting him back in the game. HC interaction with players during a game is extremely minimal. The job of the HC during a game includes a lot of things. None of which is speaking to and gauging the health status of all his players. There are trainers on the sideline who have exactly that job. Now if the story about Wells knowing BK what injured and told him to keep playing is true....then that is serious and should be dealt with. If it turns out that Wells ALSO told CBJ about the situation and CBJ chose to let him keep playing...then that is serious and should be dealt with.

You just came on actin like you knew CBJ was Coach Kilmer and in reality the truth probably lies somewhere in the middle.

I wonder if butch will retain Shoop for next year or if perhaps he just isn't a good fit here. Maybe Butch will go reach out to someone else. Of course, would be tough to change staffs, but with Frost going to Florida we will need a good defense to try and slow down his offense. Hopefully Butch either backs off and lets Shoop coach or he'll hire someone who is a better fit.

And what exactly was apt about your argument?

You said that there was “evidence of Butch micromanaging his players and getting angry when they do not perform how he wants” and thusly it is “ridiculous to assume Butch never hit a player” while denying there being any evidence of him being kind— like showing favoritism— to players.

While I can’t say your first statement is false, the statement you said was wrong is also true. Much like everything else in life, Butch’s relationship with the players exist in shades of gray. Compared to other coaches Butch is actually a touch lax with the players, which has in large part lead to the team’s current situation.

I've always maintained that I would have fired him long ago. I'm also aware that I can be a hot-headed redneck.

It was more of a joke than anything though man. I'm worried about the hire. This season is lost and it has been. Firing CBJ wasn't going to save it.

That said, I think now the cloud around him has gotten to the point that we need to remove him Sunday/Monday. Win or lose. It's time.
