IBO27 is right.. ATL only confirmed that MIT had some knowledge of the golf course. Not that he was connected in any way. And ya he's never been wrong except for that whole deal is done piece. Kind of a big deal. Hard to be wrong when you provide incredibly vague info.

That hasn't been proven to be wrong either.

Have you ever considered that is the way we like it? Just because you don't doesn't mean we don't. Thankx anyways

If you like the discussion to be based on illogical thought, that's fine. That's dumb, but I don't really care. If you don't like how I post, it will not bother me in the slightest to be put on ignore. I promise.

What bar y'all at for the daily come down session? We don't need booze, just a reluctant AD who doesn't know shtick from shinola!

idk man, that's the question though, if he's gone then why keep him if he's fired?

It just all seems shady to me if he's really fired. Nothing is really adding up from where we were about two weeks ago

I hold onto the fact that Currie knows what he is doing until he proves that he doesn't.

I get it though. It feels weird. But I think it feels weird because our last few AD's were less than stellar. I know its confusing but maybe it feels weird because this is how it is supposed to go and hasn't for several years.

Oh yeah? Well explain it to me then champ.

Cause it seems like some don't see how bad this could turn out if this is true.

I already have.

Who says this isn't bad if true? You think Currie is going to change everything and ****can Butch publically now until they at least properly investigate it? This stuff with BK will only change Currie's timeline if they can prove that Butch or coaching staff knew about it. I don't think you see anything done until they internally investigate it. The BK stuff does nothing to change my belief that Jones was already told he would not be the coach here next year.

On the concussion issue....if this came to a head yesterday as I was told we are effectively 24 hours out. If it's going to be used as show-cause for eliminating a negotiated buy-out, there will be a good bit to document, and a mountain of legalities to get through. It may be it's being used to get Butch/Sexton back to the table again.

The fact is WE DONT KNOW, and that is the way they want it. Like everything else in this drama it's not on the fans timetable, no matter which side of the argument you fall on.

How was Butch or anyone on the coaching staff able to violate the concussion protocol? I just don't see how it could have happened with all the safeguards in place.

Two things that stand out and I keep referring back to....

1) The comment "final game" by Jones in the Monday PC. You just don't say that unless it is a "final" something...

2) CBS Sports, SI, and other websites have reported this concussion issue...crickets from ESPN

Why can't I challenge the information being posted? If you don't want to respond, you don't have to.

If I have a question I find relevant, I'm going to ask it.

The fact that you guys are getting pissed at me for just trying to think about this logically should make you see where your state of mind is about this.

Who's pissed? You're throwing the tantrum because 'somebody's wrong on the internet'.

I get it, I do, idk man, something just don't seem right, and I didn't mean to come off like I was attacking you, that wasn't my point.

I just have serious questions about this whole thing

We all do. Because what we are being told doesn't line up with anything we see.

The fact they don't want that to be mentioned just means they know it is true.

Not a problem...I'm not trying to convince you of anything. If you don't like what is posted, not an issue. Have issues, ask questions....but none of the people I trust here are out to mislead anyone.

Uh, no.

Gruden isn't Santa Claus. I stopped believing in things because I wanted them to be true when I was about 10.

The claims and reality are not lining up right now and I'm going to call it like I see it. I'm not trolling and I'm not trying to antagonize anyone. Just attempting to bring some rationale back to the thread because it all died about a week ago.

If that is a problem, feel free to put me on ignore.

At least through the season, yes. They want to showcase a game day experience.

So it isn't unheard of for a recruit to take an official visit here not during football season right? I am sure its preferred for that to occur during a season though.

If that is the case then I think Currie is probably light years ahead in the planning of this than most people give him credit for.

Conspiracy: Currie knew Butch would do something, based on his past, that would allow for a show-cause. Thus not firing him for this exact moment.

I think my Grudometer has actually ticked even higher today.

If I wasn't already as high as I am comfortable with being (because of the fact that all things are fluid in this situation) I would certainly increase my level

Hope you are have a great day my friend

How many times does Freak need to say it? If you don’t agree with what is said in his thread or don’t believe the supposed insiders, this thread isn’t for you and that’s ok. Plenty of others out there
