It's crazy. It's like y'all keep saying stuff with no evidence but for some reason we have people here not prepared to take everything you type as gospel. I don't get it either.

Don't believe it and gtfo. Is it so difficult to comprehend some folks have sources they can't expose, won't expose.

If you've watched Gruden speak of Jones in the past, you know that he has a friendship with him. Assuming Gruden is coming, how do we know that it's not his stipulation that Jones be allowed to coach out the rest of the season? My point being, there could be any multitude of reasons he's still on the sidelines.

It's already been shown that he doesn't tweet a lot in the month of Oct.

My main contention about all of this is there has been nothing reported about this supposed firing. Sure we can all assume he's gone at the end of the year, but we don't know for sure.

We can't say with certainty that Currie wouldn't keep if he makes a bowl. We don't know.

What we do know is that there is now a story out there about our coach playing a kid with a concussion.

So my opinion on this, is if he was truly fired weeks ago, we would've seen a story or a rumor on ESPN or someone by now.

But we haven't, never have I seen where a coach on the hot seat/was fired/rumored to be fired and it never being reported.

If this concussion story is true, it's a real problem for the university/AD, especially if it could've been avoided if a fired coach wasn't still on the sidelines.

Ah I don't know brother. I'm definetly not an insider. But I believe it's been reported that the AD said this staff was not to host any official visits as to not waste them. That's a big tell in my opinion. If Currie was on the fence about CBJ don't you think he'd allow the staff to host official visits?

Just that it was public and loud...never got any detail about subject matter, but the Kendrick thing broke loudly shortly after I got the text.

I'm told everybody in Anderson was walking on eggshells yesterday afternoon.

Nope....been very quiet since I got the news yesterday about the altercation between Currie and Butch.

I've not really shared much of anything about Gruden....just watching like everyone else.

any idea what the altercation was about?

Was it the kendrick issue?

^^^^ This is what I was talking about in the post above. I've heard they have been cancelled through late November. But we don't have any home games after late November so who knows. Dont they try to do official visits during game weekends?

I love it when a kid in his basement thinks it is so much fun to TRY to poop on everyone else's parade. If you don't believe the sources that is fine. It is even OK for you to state that you don't. But when you have to post numerous times challenging people, it just makes you look like a child.

Not saying you're wrong, but the way someone portrays themselves in front of a camera and how they actually feel can be diametrically opposed.

Point being, do you think PM and PF have the warm fuzzies right now? He!1 no!!! They may not publicly admit anything to the contrary, but they feel as railroaded as all of us.

The boosters were obviously told that the KY game would be Butch's last...
The AD saying that he would continue to coach doesn't seem to line up with the original agreement.

Now you have negative media showing up (concussions, etc.)
Everyone involved in this is trying to get their way, and end up with as much power as possible in the future.

Needs to happen now regardless of previous discussions. IMO

idk man, that's the question though, if he's gone then why keep him if he's fired?

It just all seems shady to me if he's really fired. Nothing is really adding up from where we were about two weeks ago

That’s just IT. So many variables, so many rumors and so many unknowns.
