I really hope it isn't a bowl game appearance. We could end up being the 2nd worst team in the SEC (with a top 20 talent roster) and still make a bowl. If we beat Mizzou, S. Miss, and Vandy, we get a bowl with 2 terrible SEC wins. That would be very sad to pass on JG.

I think a bowl, and the extra practices it allows for, would be a good thing for JG.

Butch Jones and UTAD have mutually agreed to part ways, having reached a negotiated buyout (which we believe has been done for a while now, as well that Butch already has another job lined up via Sexton) and just when we thought the PC was over, Currie says, "And before we're dismissed, I'd like to introduce the new HC for the University of Tennessee, JON GRUDEN!"

it's a win win! Currie gets his big splash hire + max media coverage.
