Something just occurred to me and I'm going back to bed ... Hope it's not been posted.

Butch to south Alabama ... If he was angling for a job while he was HC at UT then it'd be okay if currie was finding a coach while he was HC at UT.

Currie can announce jg same day as Butch to USA is announced!

DocVol dropped a "no news is good news" kinda post today. Thinks the quieter Currie is, the more likely a big name hire is to happen.

OldVol stated he likes our chances and if that was an assumption or what he heard, he replied: "Combination but less on the side of assumption."

And RockyTopSc chimed in with some insight into the AD. Summation, they believe it would be wrong to remove Jones mid season like the mistake made with Fulmer. Said Currie was smarter than we realize and that retaining Jones next year is "what's done is done." Which I took to mean he's gone.

HearforGrumors broke down a great many things that has happened so far. His post is well worth the read. We forgive his internet stalking us.

Boro dropped a major bomb that there was a serious scrap between Jones and Currie. And that Stripling would likely be the interim if Jones leaves now. Lot of chatting going on, allegedly the media is on alert. We're all waiting...and waiting...waiting...

Even Behr is starting to believe.

Big news is that possibly Brent Kendrick played Saturday with a concussion or as a minimum, a head injury. Which could be what the blowup between Currie and Jones was about. Still waiting on info for that.

Hawk blatantly admits wasting our tax dollars while at work. And is probably scanning VN while he's flying his helicopter. Bad Hawk! You know those ****hawks love to crash anyway.

Freak has promised to hire actors to do text to voice with those driving vehicles that want to keep up. James Earl Jones is already on the hook for PreacherWebb. There's a good chance Sean Connery will be voicing over for Power_T Rev. Sam Elliott will get first crack at mine. Kathleen Turner will get to be SmokeyHuntsGators in her best Jessica Rabbit voice. I think Justin Bieber is going to be the voice of Behr. Gilbert Gottfried for Coasty. Chris Hemsworth is up for grabs at this point. (no ladies, not THAT kind of grabbing. Behave yourselves)

In other news today, there was an incident at a maritime training academy where a boat piloted by an Ape was seen running over small craft flying UGA, Bama and Gator apparel. The simian helmsman was heard screaming "ESS TEE EFFF YOU" and "GEE TEE EFF OH!" as he smashed the large craft into dozens of small boats. Security cameras caught a glimpse of his wake of destruction:

I am not sure how Beverly can try to apply that money towards academic when it is techinically being donated to the atheletic department.

Yes and no. We are one of the few programs in the country that funnels revenue obtain from our AD (almost solely the football program) to the AA program.

Correct me if I'm wrong but didn't Bama do this initially and then Saban changed it when he came? I'm pretty sure that is how it went down as a condition of him coming.

See the correlation? Great coach knows that the AD needs to be independent of the AA. Bama gives him what he wants and success follows. When AD is successful everyone gets fed in one way or another.

Then fast forward. Not only is the AD independent but now the AA at Bama changes the academic calendar at Sabans request.

Why can't our leaders see this?
