So correct me if I am wrong here but....aren’t academic bugets/funds and athletic budgets/funds completely separate?

I am not sure how Beverly can try to apply that money towards academic when it is techinically being donated to the atheletic department.

Honestly the more I think about it,the more I believe it's true,when Davenport was hired...we all cringed listening to her talk and how she tried to be cool letting off these lame god awful awkward jokes When she was giving her introduction speech and she doesn't even know the university slogan,so when I say she is dumb enough to tell the boosters to f*** off I mean that with everything in me, also!......FIRE HER IF TRUE

Yes, and no. Technically, donated funds are "restricted" funds to be used only for their designated purpose. Unfortunately for this case, there are maneuvers around this rule that wouldn't be terribly difficult to overcome for a University such as Tennessee.

First and last time my expertise will be useful for anything regarding this thread 😂
