Don’t know what this means, but Randy Sanders will not return to FSU next season. Was reported by FSU 247 on Twitter. Odd timing considering we will probably have a head coach opening soon. I wonder if The Grude has reached out to Sanders to gauge is OC interest, and it has led to this.

Also betting on Tennessee’s next Head Coach have been taken down, which would lead you to believe that Butch will be gone and we have our man. They wouldn’t take it down if there was any doubt IMO.

Probably the worst start in modern FSU football has led to this.

Did I say most? I didn't mean most. I had one specific person in mind.

I make good money, but I'm not wealthy. I work 60-70 hours a week, more than anyone in my employ. The tickets were sacrificially expensive and I plan on using them. I resent people who have contributed nothing to the university telling me what I should do.

Sorry for the apparent offense. Wasn't intended. I'll stop posting.

see, i told ya there was a better way of putting it, and ya did.

cheers!

Explain? Are you referring to 2012?
nah, I'm in 2017 right now.

My thoughts/opinion is you have brought good info for me to digest(along with others) and I have you on my short list. However, we're in different camps when it comes to MIT Beav, nothing more complicated than that !It simply strikes a nerve when terms like "certifiable"are used against a selected few that have come from with credible info(too the best I can tell). In fact, for those that have said your full of it a few times, I disagree with that. You, Beav and others are bringing facts, with opinioins thrown in sometimes. It's up to us in the peanut gallery to watch the show and silently call BS oif we so choose !

From a poster on VQ:

Betonline.ag is licensed out of Panama and I'm doubting they have any better sources than good ole Volquest. I posted the other day they only put odds like this up for advertising purposes. They put a max bet of $50 on it so they really don't care who actually gets named the coach.

How many of you had heard of betonline.ag before this coaching search?

Its not just me. Several have had the feeling but want it to be true so badly they choose to believe which is fine. I just hate to see everyone be so sure it is going to happen that anyone else would not get a chance. That is the epitome of unfair.
I think most of us get it but it's Gruden until it's not and if it's not it damn well better be a legitimate A-list rock star head coach this time and no more Mickey Mouse Googleme Coaches. If I believe in who they hire, I got no problem showing it with generous support. If I believe they took the cheap, unimaginative, cowardly way out again, then I'm going to have to see hardware in the trophy case before I give another squirt.

We will do MUCH better than Larry Fedora lol.

If you are so confident that it WILL NOT be Gruden, how can you be SO confident that we will do better?..... Not an attack, you know that I totally respect you and your opinion... I am simply looking for truth and something to believe in...

Here is the problem as I see it.... We are going to be in competition with 5 possible six other SEC teams for top notch coaches.... thus shrinking the pool of quality candidates to a narrow gap... Our AD seems determined to hold out till the end of the season.... by that time recruits will have flown away and many coaches who COULD bring us back to prominence will be already hired..

If it is NOT Gruden.... we are in a BIG TIME mess imho

Outsourcing Update | Office of the Chancellor

I'm piecing a few things together here, and they may not be related, but I would like to hear your thoughts.

-We know that there MUST be a reason this was tweeted out by Hubbs. I don't tweet, so I had to go look through his tweets to see if this was unusual. It APPEARS to me that it is. Of course, looks could be deceiving.
-Facilities Management isn't something where jobs would be lost if outsourced, just that working conditions for the employees would likely be below the current level. So, by not outsourcing, these employees remain state employees with the many benefits that entails.
-The only time OldVol75 has said anything about today in any way other than just the general, "good day" stuff is on 10/29 when he said, "Has a little bit to do with "handing out treats", but not halloween."

Chances are that OV's message had nothing to do with the Chancellor's message. It does, however, seem that a "treat" was handed out by the Chancellor today.

If you knew for certain right now that Chris Peterson wanted the job how many of you would be willing to change the name of the thread?

Not a beaver apologist but just clarifying what’s been said. The whole time he’s said the deal is done. He has repeatedly said its done not because grudens been hired and we’re waiting but based on his faith that “the people that put the deal together don’t miss”

If people want to stress out about who said what and keeping up with your e cred rankings and who to call out.. go right ahead. But for most reasonable people we’ll enjoy the ride

But that's not been the narrative this past week. It's been the deal is done, Gruden is coming, Jones has been fired since UGA.

Now, why would we need to pressure someone to accept the deal if this past weeks information is to be true?

Now just today alone I've seen people are blaming Haslam, but my point on that is, if you have everyone BUT the Haslams on board, do you really need their ok to hire him?

Which leads to my second point, that if Currie had the backing of the AA, Boosters, BoT and the whole of the AD, and Gruden has agreed then why would he not go ahead and hire Gruden and tell the Haslams to f%$k off? Seriously the guy would be dang near untouchable if he were able to pull that off. If he doesn't need the board approval to hire, which has been floated out there, then he for sure wouldn't need Haslams to say yes, they'd either like it or lump it.

So when MIT says now we need to add pressure on someone going against all that's been said this week, then I can see why people would call him troll.

You may very well be correct. Time will tell. I do think what he might be doing is “unfair” but he’s playing a role to try to make something happen. I respect that you were in the place he’s in now 5 years ago and saw the impacts of that on a lot of fans.

Question for you - if you got burned last time and got a cease and desist, what makes you put stock in the info you have now? As an outside observer, I would think there’s a chance it’s misinfo

Not being quippy or anything at all. A genuine curiosity and would appreciate your thoughts.

I got burned last time because I was sharing information directly from Associate AD's and other within the AD's mouths to Vol Nation. What made it worse is the information was gained at my place of employment which brought my livelihood into the mix. I was stupid, apologized and paid my penance.

What I am sharing now is my opinion based on personal relationships with people who I trust know what is going on way more than I. It is not from the AD at all, let me make that clear.

Is there still a chance it could be Gruden? I suppose there is a chance but from my point of view it is not very likely, at all.
