He will probably come back after the game this weekend with more bad news saying PJ Fleck and Mike Bobo are 1a and 1b on the list but that Butch will still be around the rest of the year.

This was his first mention of Frost though.

I can tell you that I learned this morning that Gruden has said no for the second time this week and Tennessee will now move on to other candidates. I would look for Scott Frost as the leading candidate

This was his first mention of Frost though.

I went back and looked at that thread. His comments there were 10/21 and the comment I linked was on 10/22.

His comments about frost seem to be based on his theory that everyone would shoot us down. Went on to say "we may have been told no a dozen times already."

I trust Larry but gotta separate his own negative bias from his actual info which is usually spot on.

He's not saying Scott Frost is our top target. He's saying we are gonna ask a dozen people who shoot us down and then we are gonna end up at Frost and have to outbid Nebraska for him.

I read it this way as well but I also don't think Larry or anyone else knows anything
