LWS says we're targeting Frost. Gruden is moving to town and wants to stay around the program. FROST PLAYED FOR GRUDEN IN TAMPA BAY. Obviously Gruden got the first offer, but assuming he turned it down, he's going to play a role recruiting Frost to UT and would play an advisor/analyst role once he got here.

The realtor and Cherokee visits are what escalated the Grumors. The Grudens have been spending more time in Knoxville and have talked about buying a home in the area for a while. Tennessee is their getaway spot. It's close to family and friends, and they both like Knoxville. When they're in town, they're often guests at Cherokee. So is Peyton Manning. The timing just put a different spin on something the Grudens have thought about for years.

IDK if it was a cheap shot or not, but Alonso made a dumb play IMO that cost the Dolphins any chance of a comeback in the game. The Ravens defense came out with fire in their eyes the rest of the game.

He ain't coming bere to coach. I think the grumors are what they've always been, a load of horsecrap

But I want to believe, not because I think he is the absolute best coach available necessarily, but I think he would unite the fanbase. No matter who else they hire, except maybe Chip, could have that effect. Every other candidate would have a large section of fans feeling..meh..and just waiting for failure so they could start dumping on him.

Gruden is going to be the next coach, guys. Seriously. Go ahead and start letting that sink in. It's going to be A LOT of fun around here again very soon. I know it seems crazy but it's real.

Any top-notch coach has the potential to unite the fanbase. Fans just want to win, be relevant and not be ridiculed every week. Everybody likes Gruden because the whole family has Tennessee ties. But they can be more involved with UT without coaching. And the door would be open for that to happen.

The Bruce Pearl one was much better. I may or may not have gotten a little emotional when I first saw it.

LOL, just as long as you stay away from the Vicoden (or however you spell it) that's some great sleuthing. It is definitely plausible and would be great for us.
