Not at 7-5 but 8-4 he is good.

At least that is what a contact of mine has said and he met with Currie face to face recently.

No and he won't be back at 8-4 either. I don't care what Jimmy says. Jimmy is parroting what he was told exactly like those that told him knew he would.

There is no plausible scenario where Butch Jones coaches this team next year. The only scenario I can dream up is that he fires his OC, he takes over the offense and we magically start curb stomping teams. Even then I think he leaves and restarts his clock.

That's not gonna happen though. He's getting fired at some point between now and December 1.

Sexton will find him a new job at 8-4. We won't give him the contract extension he's looking for.

Won't matter any way. This team isn't going 8-4.

It doesn't. It's fantasy land. An even bigger fantasy land than him being head coach here. The guy is either gonna be in the booth next year, or he's going to be coaching somewhere (cause he's stated repeatedly that's what he wants to do).

My thinking is he could do both. If the rumors are true he's moving to Knoxville, I'd assume he's home 3-4 days a week. Then travel Sunday-Tuesday to and from Monday Night Football locations.
