An interim coach is still rallying that team, doesn’t matter how he got there.

Can't help but think the interim coach should have ran more onto the field when trying to call that TO. Would have been seen maybe in time to stop the play

Shaw escapes. Got 3 big games coming. If he can win 2/3 verses WSU, Washington and ND that will save this season for him.

Oregon st interim is the CB coach. Wish we would let Coach G take this team over rest of yr. he has been here the longest and would have the trust of team

Wasn't like that in my day. 5 am came early and making a kid puke wasn't frown upon.

Will West was saying after the USCe game that he thoughtCBJ just gigantic get it. A reporter asked him after the game why practice didn't translate to games and he said something like did we not just play a good team. I think he doesn't get it. I knows he feels under appreciated because he has put so much in to the program and fans aren't happy with the results, but putting in hours of work and getting good recruits isn't enough if you don't win. I hope our next coach gets it. We should beat KY, candy, usce and uga every year. That's how it was when I grew up. We would trade wins with bama and uf and beat the other west opponent most of the time. And yes, he should apologize for almost losing to app state because that's not the tradition of Tennessee football. I'll raise my kids the same way. Hopefully they'll never go through what we have.

He doesn't get it. He is the most stubborn coach ever and think he is smarter than everyone. He had 2 opportunities to change his career path and go from good to great in the same way that Dabo and James Franklin did when they gave up the reins of offensive completely to new hires in Morris and Moorhead. If they don't make those hires they are both prob not where they are now either. It changed their paths. Butch had that chance twice and he hired Debord and Scott. He had the chance to evolve and he didn't. He blew it and can only blame himself

So funny since the first two years butch was here, the echo around here was “Butch gets it”. :eek:lol:

I guess he did the first two years. Roller coaster career here. He just made some bad decisions this year and it's going to cost him. These have been teaching moments.
