It was said that way I have no idea where all the Haslams live or used to live lol. I wouldn't bring it here if not from someone I have known since college and someone with nothing to gain saying it. He was pissed they declined to make an offer on his house.

It was funny we were having an event at work and he stopped in and of course UT came up. I said something like "I would like to have Gruden but realize that's a pipe dream" when he said "I am not sure about the coaching gig but he is definitely moving to Knoxville and looked at my house and a couple others when he was in town." He went on to say his realtor said they had settled on another house that is a few doors down by Butch and he referred to it as "Haslams Old Home" or something like that. I was pretty busy and caught off guard by it so it is possible something got lost in translation.
Sorry if it sounded like I was calling you out. I just knew there were no Haslams near Butch's house.

again, there are other preachers on this board, but i'll answer.

yes.
a real true live one.
God saved me Jan 5, 1992 ... completely changed my life.
Called to preach a couple years later.
Been pastoring my first (and hopefully) only church since 2004.

Wow that is a nice pad for sure...

I am a luxury broker here in Windermere, FL — I am going to reach out to the agent under the guise of having a client here in Lake Butler Sound looking to move up to Knoxville — just feel him out about the house, and see if he casually mentions anything to me. What are the odds he would be worried that a luxury broker would be calling about the property for any other reason?

Will report back this afternoon.

I’m hoping quicker than that. Early signing period will create a horrible void of talent for US, if we wait to late.

Sorry if it has been asked before and I missed it, but how can Gruden be hired if he still works for ESPN, and how can he recruit if he is attached to the NFL (or does it count that he is media and not officially connected to the League)?

Orlando vol, I know everyone is head over heels for Atlanta Vol and the Beav, but I just want to go on record as saying that you are the real deal. You are clearly willing to go out of your way to help folks like us get very real information. I applaud you, sir!

I'm trusting that guys with the letters esq behind their names have figured this out.

There may be an out for coaching in his MNF contract. I don’t know why there wouldn’t be.

Im sure many of you have read the Gruden thread. I talked to a couple of friends last night concerning business and afterwords talked about our Vols and the coaching situation. I had them bring up this Gruden thread and they just shook their head and smiled. One that was on the team in the past said "wow there are going to be a lot of people disappointed." He said Currie is busting his tail on the HC thing. He said a lot of things are going in in the background and a good hire would be made but it would not be Gruden. Gruden wants a pro job, doesnt want to recruit and all that goes with that. He thinks Mullen is the target. He said Mullen through back channels wants the job. Gruden, Petrino, Stoops, will not be hired. Just my business experience last night.

As much as I won't Gruden to be our next head coach really bad and I will be disappointed if he isn't. However the next coach on my list would be Mullen. I just think he would do really well at TN. Seeing what he has accomplished at Miss St, he would do even better here in a weaker east and a better football school to recruit to. So here's to hoping we get Gruden but if the deal falls through we have to hope we can at least pull Mullen.

Butch is gone yes...when, I don't know. Again it depends on what best serves the process in my opinion.

Gut feeling...yes, this is his last game.

As wishful as I am that this happens I cannot see it happening should we win. Only 90% sure it happens with a close hard-fought loss (yes I know its Kentucky). The only way I see it as a foregone conclusion is if we do not compete and get handed our a$$es or lose a close game due to several miscues which both are equally likely imo.

Can anyone name a coach at any D1 school that was on the hot seat and let go after a victory in an away in conference game? I cannot think of one......

It is my gut feeling too this is his last game but I also think we have very little shot at competing with the attitudes and off the field actions of the team, past history (see Umass, South Carolina etc...) and that gut feeling is based on the feeling that we will blow this game on the offensive side of the ball and wind our defense by the half. Would never root against the Vols but at the same time this team has shown nothing that makes me think we will compete at Kentucky at a level to beat the team that beat SCjr in Columbia and we could not beat them at home.

Another difference. We are coming off a 45-7 loss and are dejected and down as a fan base and in my opinion the team is as well. They are coming off a 45-7 loss and are pissed and out for blood, do not have any coaching drama or off the field drama to deal with.

I am on the case on Gruden’s House in Avila in Tampa — not currently listed for sale, but not unusual — we have a few multi-million dollar listings at my office that are “pocket listings” due to their high-profile owners.

I have a couple friends that I work with over in the Tampa market that I’ve talked to — they are both keeping their ears out to see if it becomes “available” — nothing yet.

That's why we're trying to keep it on the low, bro.

I was mentored by a guy that works for Endologix in college for a couple years. Got to sit in on a couple abdominal aortic aneurysm surgeries. Tried to get a job like that for awhile but never could break into that club. Very cool stuff.

Thanks!

Hardest thing is to just break in. If you want help, feel free to reach out to me

What are you hoping to find out?

Just want to feel him out a little — us Realtors like to talk as you can imagine — just want to see if he VOLUNTEERS any info casually, maybe implying strong interest from another party?

I do it all the time... part of my due diligence.

I think the buyout that was reached last week probably allows him to resign after ky or get fired after ky depending on win or lose.
