The Grude News, special morning edition. For those just tuning in.
Jones is still coach <sigh> Did a press conference with much fanfare...or something.
But no change on the "soon" front. Multiple posters with contacts still believe Gruden to be the one.
However, as expected, a roller coaster of emotions as "news" came out and emotions went into the toilet. However, more "news" and cooler heads prevailed which brought the emotions back up to the top. Probably going to continue that trend.
So, a lot of hope on that end. But nothing's changed.
There is a new(er) possible insider on the board, VFL92. Has some interesting things he's saying.
Apparently, posting .gifs by Boro and Preacher got a little old. They seem to have calmed down a tad on that front. However, lots of folks added to "the list."
Negagrudes and trolls still showing up in the late afternoon/evening hours. It's like clockwork. "Gruden isn't coming here because..." Yeah, guy, haven't heard that reason since, like, yesterday. But you're missing the spirit and intent of the Gruden threads. So kindly, GTFO until you do.
Speaking of showing up. Beaver made a comeback. And started a private Twitter account. Followed closely by Atlanta Vol, who requested help starting his so they could chat. We caught a snippet of their first conversations back and forth on Twitter...
Atlanta Vol: "You think I should lay up with the seven and chip it onto the green?"
Atlanta Vol: "And how do I post a picture on this thing? [pic+\<@vn.org] or something? Preacher? Boro?"
Beaver: "Ivan has a new drink with a double shot of 18 year old Scotch. I think I'll call it the Barely Legal."
Beaver: "Oh, and you're a b!tch if you don't go for it with a five iron."
And thus endeth the Twitter conversation.
And even with as much fun poked at Atlanta, he is a stand up guy for donating tickets to a veteran. Bravo, sir.
Politics reared it's ugly head in the thread last night. There is a Politics Forum. Of which Dad came in and reminded us to knock it off. Try the PF. Lord only knows LG could use the company.
In other news, Freak's yacht was successfully converted with the new liquor hold.
Ape spent the next 27 hours "inspecting" the work.
Let's see what today holds...
