I just think people are dead wrong in saying his offense wouldn't work here. Yes it's an Oregon style offense but it also has plenty of power run schemes mixed in. Likes to run the ball between 40 and 50 times a game.

In fairness, I don't think the secret society is exactly what it's being painted as. I think their thing is about being nameless in good deeds. Just so happens that people like that tend to be wealthy, so there is overlap with more pedestrian things like funding coach transitions.

I forget exactly how he's connected but it's on the financial side of things. He's saying Gruden accepted weeks ago and we're all just waiting for Currie to let Butch go to then introduce Gruden. But he doesn't know what the exact timeline will be. However he does know that ESPN will be the ones to break the story. So I think he knows from the ESPN side of things (Grudens current employer). And he's from Chattanooga so everyone in the Gruden thread has been cryptically trying to figure out who he is exactly. His handle is MIT Beaver.

Atlanta Vol was asked about his initial statement a couple of weeks ago that Gruden was not going to be considered. He said after the UGA game, he saw a list of coaches to vet that was at an Atlanta firm. Gruden was not on the list, and that is why he originally said it.

I remember when Atlanta Vol first came around and we thought he was a troll. Proven himself since. For him to now think his own info he provided (the “good list”) might be misdirection.. big, imo

He said we had a chance with Lawrence last year around the SEC Champ game when everyone was saying we weren't even in top 3 anymore. But he never said we would definitely land him I don't think
