I believe this was what Boro was alluding to when he said we had been snaked in the first negotiation with Gruden
This has been in the back of my mind. I remember Gruden saying the Browns were his favorite team growing up. With his connection to Haslem through Tennessee it just has seemed like a place he might go if he wanted back in the NFL. But I also seem to remember him saying the only 2 college jobs he would consider were Tennessee & Notre Dame so who knowsHutch7 is posting on TOS this morning. Basically says:
Gruden to the Vols doesn't look good right now.
Poster: why?
Haslems are heavily involved.
Poster: I thought Haslems wanted him?
Hutch: they do if you get what I mean.
He thinks he's going to the Browns
Yes, I am all about the drama.
I was just curious about your sidekick. He was such a condescending guy that seemed to start every post telling all of us Butch doubters how intellectually challenged we all were. I remember epic back and forth debates between him and sjt. Good times. I guess in the end sjt has come out looking like a prophet.
As far as my lengthy mia from the boards goes, I have been busy dealing with personal things in my life that were far more important than debating the merits of one Lyle Allen Jones. I am sincerely touched that you have missed me, though.
But DTO said that was turned down???im so damn Confused. There's no way Peyton would agree to become GM with the browns and gruden accepts the HC spot. That's total backstab and I don't see Peyton doing that
