Nope. Butch will have the most ultra conservative game plan we have ever seen… Similar to the Bama game last year where he protected Dobbs. We may even just kneel it every down.

I will get up and walk out if they actually run the ball or throw 3 yard passes every play.

Maybe but Brlce isn't on good terms with staff so don't think he cares to help them. Probably trying to help QD if anything. Although his arm strength wasn't his problem

Every pass he threw against Georgia was under thrown and the wide out had to come back to the ball to catch it. Made no sense because we had seen bullets before. He may really be having issues. Also, doesn't step into throws so who knows.

Literally in the same boat. 1-5, but every week I have someone on my bench go off and then one guy in my lineup lay an egg. 3 of my losses have been by a combined 4 points.

Yep started Mariota, CJ Anderson and Cooper last week. Had Wentz and Hyde on my bench. Lost by 7.

I would have started Cooper this week but I have Dez and Tyreek Hill I mean who would start Cooper? Ugh.

Exactly what we need. Remove the negativity surrounding CBJ and let the players regroup and focus on winning the second half of the season.

JMO, but I think Jones wants out as bad as UT wants to start over. UT negotiates a smaller buyout paid upfront, and he's out after Bama. UT names Hoke interim and hopes it can find 3 more wins and a bowl while finding their next guy.

CBJ has already said they're going to be conservative tomorrow. Probably afraid the Bama D will score more than us if we put the ball in the air. Hope we don't get JKelly hurt running him into a brick wall over and over.

Muschamp is the grim reaper of UT coaches. Whoever we hire has to vanquish that bastard.

Funny,I know a former SC bball player that is well connected over there. (he actually went with me to the game Saturday) He gets the impression that Champ is still very much in question by a lot of SC fans/brass. He thinks that while Spurrier's short high mark was great at the time, it set up WM(or whoever followed Spurrier) to fail with the fans.

Heard Hubbs on the radio yesterday say Butch's contract is one of the few head coaching contracts in the country with a mitigation clause - meaning UT will only have to pay him the difference in salary between what he will make at his next job and what he should be making at UT. And it is paid monthly for the next 3 years and 4 months.

I assume he'll make roughly $3 million at his next stop because I think his resume gets him a pretty decent job.

The difference in monthly salary between $3M and $4.5M is substantial to normal guys like me, but as you said, he may prefer to take a lump sum offer up front that is less that the total he would get in 3 years just to get it over with.

I think he's wanted out since Vandy... and I think UT has been hoping he'd find somewhere to go. Neither CBJ nor UT needed all this negativity. At this point, it's all about the financials.

Won't happen but they need to understand that USCe is a bottom feeder program in this league. What Spurrier did there speaks to the level of coach he was IMO. They should be happy with winning 8 every 3 or 4 years.

Been a weird year in the NFL and fantasy so far.

Thats the 3 million dollar question really. The longer he stays here that number gets smaller IMO.

Which in turn hurts UT given that clause. The less he signs for somewhere else the more UT is on the hook for.

JAV has spent the past week or so figuring out his angle for this Gruden stuff. That's a total non-answer that he just gave.
