I want Gruden as much as anyone. I just keep thinking this Gruden stuff is a hoax and Currie is gonna march out Chip Kelly, Jimbo or Stoops. And I’d be perfectly fine with that!

Maybe but Brlce isn't on good terms with staff so don't think he cares to help them. Probably trying to help QD if anything. Although his arm strength wasn't his problem

I can't see how anyone would have an issue with that. That would be a homerun. One can only hope.

This is supposed to be a thread about harmony and a new bright future. There are no negavols and sunshine pumpers in here now.

to be fair, the Tennessee job is the only one he has specifically mentioned having an interest in. unless i missed his comments on the others.

If we keep Butch after a Bama it's either we don't feel great about the guys we have talked to and can't upgrade or you really don't want to pay that buyout. Much harder to fire a guy after a win and Butch could realistically win out after this wknd. This is your only guaranteed shot to cut him loose after a bad loss.

Well since you continually want to argue with me. Yes when a broadcaster has multiple years of fan bases falling head over heals his every move and he never says a word,shows up at practices, sits in the stands that is exactly what he is. An attention whore,

Speaking of Raiders....imagine how people that dropped Amari Cooper felt last night. Not sure why anyone would do that but someone did in a league I am in. It was too late to grab before game though as he was stuck in waiver freeze time

I somewhat agree with this. This is also the one point that leads me to believe he had interest in 2012. He could have squashed that rumor with one short statement. Either he really had interest or was whoring for attention.

I wonder if his wife really does want him to take the job but he isn't interested? Would make sense that he compliments the university in any public comments he can to appease her. Then he can always say he didn't think he was a fit.

Sounds like a Tennessee fan to me. He was showing up to practices and games long before his name was rumored for coaching searches.

Who knows, maybe he actually has some interest in the job as well. I know it’s a crazy concept for some.
