IIRC, he'd just done an appearance there. But he's also probably like a lot of people when they move far away from home -- every team near you growing up suddenly becomes your team because you remember them growing up. For him, it'd be UT and UGA.

Hell, if I became famous. Y'all could probably find posts of me cheering hardcore for UK because of family even though I'm all Vol.

I may be getting this wrong, but supposedly Mrs Gruden and Mrs Fulmer took a trip to Dollywood together. Many people connecting dots from there.

This. I mean I've watched other fanbases during coaching searches and while they have their Grumors and outlandish rumors, NONE take it to our level. They may dream up even crazier pulls (Saban to Texas) but not a one gets to the point of x's wife was hanging with y's wife.

This is probably because we have such a huge online presence compared to others (even other bluebloods) but it's still insane how football crazed we truly are.

Many more uses for the university plane than just football. Athletics rely on a number of private planes for travel from boosters.

I'm Jewish on my mothers side - great-great-grandmother to grandmother etc. That per Jewish custom means I'm a Jew, same as any religious Jew born to two Jewish parents, since what makes a Jew is matrilineal inheritance. Kinda weird since I only found out a few years ago by doing some research. Also weird that a person born to a Jewish father and non-Jewish mother but raised Jewish isn't a Jew and would have to convert to be a Jew even though I'd consider that person far more Jewish but religious laws can be weird like that.

Same here. Jewish on my moms side. Great-grandma was a secular Jew. The Roma comes from moms side as well. Moms whole family is from the Balkans.

Apparently, a past Vols First Lady and the next First Lady went to Dollywood.
They met with Dolly who’s a big Vol fan and was really puffing out her chest to meet Mrs Fulmer and Mrs Gruden.
Vicky said that she was sent by her fund raising husband to ask Dolly if she would contribute to a go fund me to procure Jon as our new coach.
Dolly, bless her heart, said she would donate her entire wig and brassiere collection for auction to raise money.

I think one of the biggest mistakes this staff made this year is putting Trey Smith at Guard. From day 1 they should’ve put him at Tackle and let him develop. Sure he would’ve took some lumps but by the time Florida came around he would’ve been ready and then you have an All- SEC caliber tackle for the next 3-4 years.

The personel management and player development on the Oline is my biggest gripe with this coaching staff. You have dudes like Jack Jones who has greatly regressed from a true freshman to a junior. It just doesn't make sense.

I've been preaching this for awhile. It's obvious they made some promises to Drew Richmond and don't want to upset him and his family. Remember, there's a reason he turned down Ole Miss.
