If UCLA wants to fire Mora, money won't stand in the way. But they're not looking all that eager to make a move this year, unless Mora finds an NFL job.

Yeah I'm starting to lean that way as well. They both have a killer instinct they we've missed for awhile.

I think if we hire Frost he could be a career coach here. If he’s as good as he seems, he could be here a long time. He’s a younger version of Kelly with less baggage. Also I bet he would recruit harder than Kelly.

I don't see Shoop sticking around. Team probably needs a clean slate overall outside of Coach G and Warren.

Even if he was interested, I’m super skeptical of him being successful in his first time coaching CFB and having taken a decade off from coaching.

What is your biggest reservation with each one?

Gruden: drinks Coronas. Gross.

Patterson: his cover of Hal Ketchum's "Small Town, Saturday Night" needs work.

Kelly: too many people will confuse him with Brian Kelly.

Frost: there will be a new thread every week claiming he is Kiffin-ing us for Nebraska.

Jim Bob Cooter: the never-ending string of puns and jokes people will make due to his last name.

Gruden - been out of coaching a while. Does he have the skill set for the college game?
Gary - can he do what he does with elite talent (and the egos that come with it). Can’t he do it against teams this physical year in and year out.
Kelly - is this a destination for him?
Frost - fools gold?
JBC - hasn’t been a head coach at any level. Very big change from OC at NFL to HC running a football program.

I agree with a lot of what you said. I'd wonder if this is a destination job for Frost too.

What pissed you off this morning Bruin? We are all here because we love this university and its football program. Many of us give our hard earned money and lots of time to it also, so I disagree that we aren't owed something in return for that loyalty. We deserve to see a once proud program return to its former glory and dominance. And it is crystal clear that will never happen under Butch.

Bruin is:
A contrarian first
A hypocrite
On a perpetual high horse
Will argue with anyone who will argue with him.

He absolutely is unbearable and I don't see why people tolerate him, respond to him, or as some do claim he is "a good poster".

What is your biggest reservation with each one?

-Jon Gruden, I wonder if he'd have the passion for long term success
-Gary Patterson, I fear nothing with him and think he would be great for a 10-15 year run
-Chip Kelly, I could see him setting Tennessee up for great long term success as long as he would stay. I worry a little about infractions though.
-Scott Frost, I think he could be successful offensively but do worry about the defensive side. He is relatively new as a head coach.
-Jim Bob Cooter, Tennessee has had the greatest success with a Tennessee guy. He is the best available and I would fully support his hire. My worry would be he would be here late in the recruiting season.
