I do believe you guys just sit around and try to stir **** up to intentionally divide the fan base. You know he didn't attempt to quit. Period.

Because ppl like you got your head in the sand I'm supposed to not post wth I want when I want. Please save your finger muscles because there's no dislike, discourse, butt hurt, or anything on this end. I really feel sorry for the kids, the new coaches, even Butch, but there is a problem.

How is this even remotely true. SO you are telling us Butch and co. tells everyone that players have season ending injuries to cover up that they quit the team? And everyone in the AD as well as the player that quit keeps this super secret except your "inside source" who leaks that info to you and you spread it like poo all over the message board.

So what was TKJr. miffed about--losing his starting job or what? I haven't seen a reason.

I imagine that when you've got 85 guys on a team, coaches are dealing with situations of one kind or another constantly. I don't know enough about Jones's management style to comment further.

As for Hurd, it was a weird situation in some ways. The guy is a good back--a big, strong back with some speed. Did anybody look at him and say, "Damn, I can't understand why he's playing." Not hardly. That said, Hurd is kind of a classic I formation tailback: put him behind a hard-nosed fullback and pound the rock. I'd like to have seen it. Instead, we had a power I-type back in a some sort of read-option offense, and while Hurd was good, it turns out we had a guy in Kamara who was probably a better fit. I imagine that if we'd had a first-rate OC we could have designed an offense to make good and equal use of them both--but we run a one-back set mostly and so it was Hurd for a long time...and then it wasn't and he got a bad attitude...and then things went south. Jones did probably mismanage the situation to some degree. He also should have played Dobbs from the get-go, even as unpolished as his passing was early on. It's not like Worley was having great success throwing the ball.

You are just making things up. TKJ has not quit on the Vols. I know for a fact that TKJ is hurt. He is going to continue his education after he graduates and knows he is not going to play in the NFL.

As far as Jennings goes you are just guessing and hoping you are right so you can come on here and tell everyone I told you so. Are you going to come to this board next year and apologize when Jennings shows up on the team?

Do you spend time bashing any other coaches on social media like you do the UT staff? That's why you get called out like you do since your claim of impartiality is a joke.

You can blame CBJ for a lot of things but Hurd isn't one of them. He got plenty of playing time even when he shouldn't have and chose to give partial effort.

This is true. We are unlikely to know why various players left... but quite a few with talent have left.

No opinion either way on De1's post but why would that be so hard to believe.. It would actually make sense with all that's been going on. I'm willing to wait and see and not act like a butt hurt kid because I was told something I didn't want to hear.. It will all come out in the wash eventually..

De1 is definitely right about one thing. Some people around here really do have there heads up their arses...

I would almost welcome a loss this Saturday if it guaranteed Butch Jones is done here. I'm more concerned with the long term health of the program than any one game.

Butch Jones is obviously a problem that must be removed right now. I hope the administration makes the right choice and fires him this weekend.
