If we don't put JG in we have no chance to win a big game this year. None.
For the love, please stop. QD is not the problem any more than JG is the solution. JG had the same opportunity to win the starting role. In his limited reps, he has shown he isn't ready. He will be good, but he wouldn't have won the game for us yesterday.
The problem was play calling and execution. Good play calling, we win. Good execution, we win. We did just about everything wrong we possibly could have against Florida.

Goodbye VN.
I am still in Oklahoma for my son's Boy Scout canoeing campout. Life is to be enjoyed. Something that I have learned through his Scout adventures.
Couldn't sleep last night so checked in. This place is kinda miserable. Maybe I will be after I watch the game tonight...probably not. I have rooted for the Vols through 6 head coaches tenures. During that time, I cannot even count the number of losses that should have been wins.
It's not going to change my status as a lifelong Volunteer.
Not sure that I can weather the current misery of VN.
VN used to be my safe place to enjoy Vols' football.
Not now.
I will check back in after our wins this season to see if it is safe again.

The entire offensive is the problem. Sorry guys but the offense will suck as long as we are in the spread. JG or QD are not JD . gotta have a running QB to bail out the bad coaching calls . we should be pro style. We win by 3 tds under center .For the love, please stop. I def like him and 35 out there. They are our 2 best lbs. After 53 got abused on that drive after the penalty he didn't go back out there. Whether by design for rest or what but 35 is just a better athlete.

The sad part is: I loved some of the formations and play designs that Scott came up with. Very creative with some of the downfield combos, wheel routes, and very impressed with the screen game specifically the fake screen, drag combo. Very nice.
Just not sure why we abandon the run at the goal line and when they had to call timeout to rest towards the end. We had them gassed.

This. QD is not the problem. JG has a bright future but the ISU game proved to me he has a lot of work to do. Anyone thinking JG will be our savior this year is going to be severely disappointed.

I am about to do the same. Not the same fun place it use to be. I been a Vol fan since I was a kid. Going back to the Curt Watson, Carl Johnson days. So I have seen quite a bit of bad moments and bad coaches. Good times and great coaches. But now it seems to be a pissing constants of I told you so's. Never seen a time where people glory in our loses just so they can rub in the faces of those that believe you support your coaches and players on the field until it is clear there needs to be a change. CJ has done a lot of great things to get our program back to having talented players on the field and many other things as well. I now do believe that he can't get it done in the SEC. I do think think that its low on the fans part to resort to name calling like, his an idiot, Moran, and other things. We forget sometimes he has a family that I am sure hear their dad get called all sorts of things. A wife who hurts for her husband when she hears them. I have but Football in perspective a long time ago. I get fired up and upset as anyone but when its over I let it go. Got to remember this will mean nothing in eternity. What I do on Sundays, this morning is so much more important. I love my Vol bros but man life is frustrating enough without coming in here. I am sure I will come in to lurk to get news of players and coaches at times.
So thanks Volnation for the good memories. Hope the season turns around but I need to focus more on my real life and playing golf.![]()
QD is not THE problem. He is A problem.
JG won't be a savior I get that. He does have a bright future and why not roll the dice OJT ?

He deserves his shot. I have seen too many back foot throws. We should be 1-2 to be honest. I saw enough in him that he deserves more than 12 attempts to judge.
It's a roll of the dice. I think JGs legs are his only advantage over QD. I fully admit I am basing it on limited snaps but what I saw out of JG in the ISU game was very, very raw. Talented, but raw.
