We constantly see this team put itself in position to have to do something miraculous to win. Sometimes we have been able to pull the miraculous off and it's created almost a false shine over what Butch has accomplished here.

If Justin Martin doesn't knock that ball out on the goal line on their long run we aren't even in the position to lose on a hail Mary. We just get beat badly most likely.

We are in these positions because of coaching. We should be blowing a lot of these teams out. But bonehead coaching decisions put us in these positions. Not only that, but conservative gameplans like OU, Fl, and Arkansas in 2015 put us in these positions. It seems like this offense never gets going until we're down by double digits. That is coaching. If we turned our guys loose from the opening kickoff we wouldn't have these problems.

Well, we scored more than 13, 20 actually and left more on the field.

And their D is nothing special. It wasn't because of their D that we didn't score more.

The loss is all in the coaches. They didn't run JK, Shoop didn't leave a safety deep. They still aren't playing their best personnel.

But all night you have been crowing how you were right all along. Your elbow and shoulder must be sore from patting yourself on the back.

I just think your an ******* and like a broken watch you are right twice a day. No one that is a true Vols fan is happy they would be right today. Not a single one.

Much less running around with your plate of crow trying to force a big bite down everyone's throuat.

I haven't seen a post of yours yet that said anything good about 1 player, how they fought hard. Not a peep.

I'm pretty much done with Butch but for the team I hope they keep up the good fight.

I hope you go back to whatever team you supoorted before you got here.

The truth might be that everyone in the SEC outside of Alabama is just spinning their wheels right now.

Mullen may be the only other really good coach. What he's done at State is legit. Nobody else scares me at all. We must strive for better than this. There is so much opportunity to ascend in this conference.

I thought I remembered there being questions about whether we actually went after him and there were rumors that his camp leaked that to get him a raise.
