Been having visions of cutting you some slack because you do say some factual things at least 1% of the time but JHC....next time you have them kinda thoughts, just letem freakin go....you can thank me later !

Which brings me to a question, if one originally betted on the -1 but the line increased to -8 someone after your bet, and then they proceeded to cover a 4 point spread, which line takes it on your bet. The initial or the end? As in would you win because you netted on a -1 spread, or lose because it ended up being -8?

I'm a huge gambler as you can tell... (sarcasm, btw.)

The line is set at the time you make the bet.

(1) No my expectations haven't changed. I still think we go 14-1 and win the national title.

(2) I think it'll be a combination of things. First they're gonna lose again this year in the national title game. That'll probably distress Saban big time. Then in 2018 they'll lose a couple of games. Recruiting has already fallen off from what it used to be. I think that continues. After all this I think Saban probably quits in 2019.

All good things don't last forever. I don't know why people think the Saban dynasty will continue in perpetuity. I predicted them to go 11-1 this year and make it to the playoffs as a second SEC team even though they won't be playing for the conference championship.

However, this is the beginning of the end. We've already seen that the recruiting standard of excellence is beginning to fall off. Alabama's 2018 class will be lucky to be in the top 10 let alone the top 3 which it has been since 2008 when Saban put together his first full recruiting class. The tea leaves are there. You guys are just not willing to read them. All good things come to an end. And the Saban dynasty at Alabama is about to end.

The end will start in January 9, 2018 when we beat them in Atlanta for the national title. It'll continue in October 2018 when we beat Alabama in Neyland to break the regular season losing streak. I think after missing out on the SEC Championship in 2017 and 2018, Saban will retire.

Alabama is not getting a top 3 class this year. They'll be lucky to be in the top 5. I think 7-10 range is more likely.

Plus y'all won't have Saban to bail you out for much longer. He'll retire by 2019.

Be happy though I think you guys will be back in the SEC Championship Game in 2020. You'll lose to Florida that year. But making it to the championship game will be an accomplishment for y'all.

I love how you cite your own predictions as if they are some kind of legitimate source. It would be ridiculous even if your predictions were fairly solid as opposed to the dog crap they typically are.

Just remember I said this first.

2017 - lose national title game AGAIN
2018 - lose 2 or more game in conference
2019 - new head coach
2020 - back in Atlanta but lose to Florida for the SEC Championship

Has it ever entered your mind that teams play real hard and have a quick turnaround,(5 days), and simply aren't quite up to having to go all out to get the win so they get a 2 possession lead and then just coast to the win...f*** a bunch of stats. Those fair weather fans with the intent on bashing the coaches are the ones always referencing stats. They don't jive with the W-L record. So GT won the stat battle as UT won the war.

Not projecting the future but you do know the only player currently (mid-Sept BTW) committed to AL that's not a 4* is a kicker.

Just because you have a lot of open spots right now doesn't mean they'll be filled by great players. Saban will find that he won't be picking and choosing as he expects come December.

Plus teams like Ohio State, Texas, and even Miami are way too far out in front. Alabama will finish in that bottom part of the top 10 like Tennessee.

You're not paying attention. UCLA is currently top 10 in the rankings because they've got 23 signees with 17 of them being 3*. AL has nothing currently BUT 4* minus a kicker. It's a quality vs quantity kind of thing.

We will in fact see what happens down the road but the "recruitment falling off" angle as of mid-Sept isn't working for you if put to any scrutiny.
