Charlottesville white nationalists riots

Of course, none of the liberals on this board will speak bad of antifa. They support their Jew hating tactics and ideology.

From what I've picked up, there's a picture posted somewhere in this thread of an antifa propaganda(?) piece with an anti semetic reference on it. Is that correct? I'm not pro antifa, or trying to stir the pot, but was it promoting some kind of upcoming event? Like posted on a telephone pole, business window, website, or something? Feels like something that was photoshopped and floated on the internet for confirmation bias. It just seems weird that they would be protesting this if they were also anti semetic. I don't know if this has already been posted or not. Sorry, if so. It's from VICE. It's kinda long, and it's really hard to watch. Was for me, at least.

So if a majority of states had approved of slavery, abolitionist states could just pound sand?

Thankfully that wasn't the case... but yes.

We are one nation, under God, indivisible with liberty and justice for all... Did anyone besides me ever have to say the pledge of allegiance before elementary school started?

That is not exactly slavery but the 14th Amendment of the U.S. Constitution does make it clear that national allegiance supersedes state allegiance.

How is it different? If the owner (fed gov) makes a treaty the individual states are bound - similar to selling rights to property. If the fed gov decides not to secure borders, the individual states are prevented from enforcing their own border if it coincides with the national border - AZ. The fed gov has a nasty habit of unfunded mandates - education, care of illegal aliens, etc. The fed gov withholds funding if states don't implement as the fed gov demands - master/slave relationship - that can be a regulation made by an un-elected bureaucrat instead of duly elected "representatives".

And through HS. Now are you equating that with a mark of submission required by a fascist government, or with a statement of respect for the country? If it's the latter, then surely you believe the flag should be treated with respect and dignity, and everyone should stand and appropriately salute the colors during the nation anthem.

Lololol...smh...wow. You're basing your argument on an Amendment ratified as part of the Reconstruction in 1868, a full 3 years after the Civil War ended in 1865.

Not sure why people give the White Supremacist group attention. I mean I get why the hard core left does, they need to feel like they belong to some cause as a way to justify their lifetime of failure..but they don't seem to realize that the more you bring this very, very small group of people and their ideas to light the more attention you bring to them. I think in the bleeding heart world its called "raising awareness". Thats all they are doing.

No, we realize the Civil War can actually still be lost.

Three more protesters were arrested Wednesday for participating in the toppling of a nearly century-old statue of a Confederate soldier in North Carolina.

Dante Strobino, 35, and Ngoc Loan Tran, 24, were arrested when they attended a court hearing for another woman who was charged Tuesday for climbing a ladder to attach a rope to the bronze soldier. Peter Gilbert, 39, was arrested later Wednesday afternoon.

Good. The destruction of property needs to stop.

Should've used the rope on them from the nearest tree.
