HBO's "Game of Thrones"

Can anyone tell me if the "magnificent 7" and the entire plot of capturing a wight is in the books?

Felt like "a hairbrained scheme that just might work" - very Hollywood.

Book wise, Jon is still bleeding out from all his stab wounds on the cold ground at Castle Black.

So no.

We can all agree now that Dany is well on her way to being a tyrannical dictator right? And if we can smuggle a boat up and sneak into the red keep in broad daylight, couldn't we sneak say 50 guys in at night and suppress the castle. Kill Cersei and Jaime and end the war just that quickly. Instead of sending some of our best fighters on a suicide mission that could take months and isn't likely to work since we all agree Cersei is nucking futs. No. Ok

I don't see why it even has to be that complicated. Why not just fly 3 dragons to the Red Keep and say, "Bend your knees or else." Jaime didn't sound like a man wanting to fight a lost cause last night. He's ready to throw in the towel.

Spoiler for episode 6...do not read if you don't want part of the episode to be spoiled.

The guys that decided to march beyond the wall get themselves into some **** and Dany rides in to save the day. This part idk if it's a 100% sure or not but I believe it is...somehow one of her dragons dies (Viserion) during this and becomes an Ice Dragon and that's how the Knight King tears down part of the wall in episode 7.

I called it

Especially how his face looked when Cersei hugged him and then said "Never betray me again"; like "I gotta get outta here."

Not sure if anyone else has said this or not... but I don't think Cersei is really pregnant. I think she knows that Jamie is drifting away and she only told him that to pull him back in. I think that Jamie will find this out and along with something else cause him to kill her and let the prophecy be fulfilled.

I disagree. I really do think she is pregnant but will lose the baby and thus drive her to become the "Mad Queen"

It's the Mountain's undead baby!

No..no more than Rob was a tyrant for chopping off Rickard Karstarks head, and no different than Jon hanging the traitors. They forced her hand. Either burn them, or show weakness at a time when she can least afford it. Cercei is a tyrant, Euron is a tyrant, Joffrey was a tyrant. I know you are going to argue this till you turn blue in the face, but Jon and Dany are different from them.

Also Tarly is the freaking buttmunch that was going to kill his own son for being weak. I have no sympathy for the devil..I do for his boy Dickon, he didn't deserve that, other than being stupid enough to follow his tyrant father into hell. He had to know his father threatened Sam with death if he didn't take the black so Dickon could be his heir instead.

Ok, UEM, this is for u about Littlefinger.

In episode 7, I think, Sansa sentences Littlefinger to death and before he can talk his way out of it, Arya cuts his throat with the Valarian steel dagger.

So you think Arya sniffed his little scheme out? Or does she figure it out after confronting Sansa?

I agree. What Tyrion said to Randyll Tarly was spot on. He was pledged to the House of Tyrell so his loyalties were indeed flexible. He should have remained loyal to Lady Olenna after Cersei blew up the Sept of Baelor which killed Margaery and basically the whole Tyrell family and been in full support of taking up arms against the Lannisters. His only reasoning for joining them was that Dany was a foreigner and had brought Dothraki 'savages' to their shores... That's just bigotry. He deserved to be cooked well done. Dickon didn't but that was his dumb stubborn choice. He had just told Jaime that many of the men in the Tyrell army (who had died and s*** themselves) were his friends. Why was he willing to die for loyalty to Cersei? Sometimes dumb people die just because they're dumb.

I gave in to temptation and read this. I hope it's not accurate. This would be silly.

Exactly..dude was just an evil dirtbag like Stannis. No sympathy from me at all.

Rickard Karstark was a traitor to a King he pledged fealty to. Likewise the people who stabbed Jon were duty bound to follow him. That's not what Dany did. She did what her dad liked to do. Roast those that oppose them. Now I agree Randall Tarly's reasons for not kneeling where dumb and illogical. But if Euron is a tyrant then Dany is. Euron was elected by the people as leader of the Iron Islands. Targaryen rule of Westeros was established by Conquest. They lost it by Conquest. She isn't owed fealty. She talks of creating a utopian egalitarian world where everyone is equal but only if you submit to her rule. Which the people she wants to rule don't want. And if you don't submit you become barbecue. It's tyranny just benevolent tyranny.
