Keep in mind we had been used to above average qb play even before Peyton. Kelly, Heath, ultimately Peyton his Frosh year. I think the thought was our D would carry us (accurate) and we would be 8-9 wins. Keeping in mind at that time volnation couldn't fathom a 6-7 win season. Furthermore, after T, we had Casey and Ainge.
I do feel like this year is the first year, no offense to Dobbs, or his predecessors, that we have a top notch qb competition, where whoever wins the job can be potentially "all sec" good.
