I know you know nothing about actual football... And I know that you know that I know that I do. I have accepted this is why you won't respond to me. That's fine. However, Sammy Watkins lack of production has nothing to do with talent and everything to do with injuries... OBJ got confident that is the difference between him and a lot of other guys... He has great hands, runs great routes, and is confident... Antonio callaway can be very good, however he has made some pretty poor decision. I don't just say stupid sh&@ on here to get attention, so I can not say for sure where all of them will end up because I haven't watched tape... (And no you haven't either)

It's been fun... Signed a person that knows his sh$&
to: a person that doesn't... (Thanks for your time)[/QUOTE

Maybe the reason people don't respond to your messages is that your kinda a Di*k. Maybe just food for thought. How do you know who is who on here? How would you know what his football IQ is?

How do we know that your not some pimple faced kid using his dads VN account to just spout off some garb you found on the interwebs? You think you're the only one on here that knows their Sh*t when talking football. You would be suprised how many of us are former Players at "ALL" levels.

Maybe next time don't be such a douche bag and have some sense of comradery for all things VOLS, instead of calling a guys football knowledge into question. We are all family here. If you don't want to be part of that then exit 👈🏻.
You got seven likes... Good job. I don't run at people on here usually unless they start down grading players calling them fat when you (possibly) played at "all" levels... I am assuming that refers to the NFL???

So with that background assumed I will make my case... First I am a coach and have the utmost respect for all things UT athletics.
Second, I am perfecty fine with armchair quarterbacks on here that are humble and willing to learn (I got started by being a smart player and having connections through that) in essence I wasn't far from them.

However, it is because of coaching and knowing (from stories by previous coaches from UT and others from other places) of what these guys go through on a regular bases (yes the good and the bad) to put their body on the lines for the same UT program that we all cheer for...
THEN TO BE CALLED FAT AND NOT TAKING IT SERIOUSLY... that is when it all started for me. Also, constantly talking about how butch should be fired, Shoop doesn't know what he is doing .... Blah blah blah...

It's ok to question but to say they are not committed and calling them fat...

You be the judge... I am not the greatest or most informed coach about football but I know enough to know that is completely unacceptable... Where is the line... Because if that's ok it's getting really murky... (No problem with you defending someone more power to you for that) ... Just next time know who your defending...

I am throwing up in my mouth a little as I type this post, but I have to pull for Kentucky today. North Carolina has been the most corrupt basketball program in recent memory and gets even more calls than Kentucky does. When you combine that with their entitled-feeling fanbase, it is really quite an easy decision. Let's go Wildcats!!

Man, Kentucky fans losing their minds on every call. I haven't seen a legitimate bad call against them. It's incredible how out of control they are.

There have been a couple of crap calls that went UNC's way. The foul on that scramble after Kentucky knocked it away was really weak.

I strongly feel like last year was an outlier for CBJ. There were cancers in the locker room that are no longer on the team. We were decimated by injuries (I know it's been harped on, but it's true). The permanent captains was a fail because when they went down, it affected the team leadership and morale. And oddly, the team was undisciplined from the beginning, which even the negas here have to admit is uncharacteristic of Butch Jones' teams.

I have never seen anything that would cause me to say CBJ is a world beater. But he's made improvements in every facet, on and off the field, of our team over his first 3 years here. I'll give him a pass for last year, and see if we can't get back on the upward track in 2017.

Boom! This

If Hurd doesn't quit on the team, we go 10-2 last year, even with injuries. With or without Hurd, if we have an actual DT playing late in the season, we go at least 9-3. Both of those issues are Butch's responsibility, but are they really evidence of his limitations? I'm not convinced.

Most of the negative viewpoints are built on the premise that CBJ is stubborn, unchanging, and cannot be taught. While oft repeated, that hasn't been proven to my satisfaction. He's clearly made mistakes, and he is clearly doing different things after doing so. I also think it is telling that he has been able to hire good coaches in spite of lots of bad press. I have no predictions, but this year is certainly going to be interesting.

It's not evidence of either school of thought, and there's certainly no evidence that we are 10-2 with Hurd. The DT issue is much more plausible, I will give you that.

My "negative" viewpoint is built almost exclusively on the downturn in recruiting- and as usually follows, talent level- as opposed to so called character flaws. Will the adjustments remedy that? Nothing to do but sit back, watch and hope.

Wow! Jordan Lee was down 17 pounds to start the day and came back and won the Bassmaster Classic at only 25 years old! Incredible

Do you really not see how this team could, with a few key injuries, bad bounces and bad incidents, go 5-7 or worse? That would be a spectacular fail imo.

I pretty much never say never but I think the scenario where it gets that bad is very, very unlikely.

Let me put it this way. There are a lot of glass half full types on here but you're the only one I've seen go to that level with the sky is falling scenario
