Yep, and looked horrible, as was Holly's coaching...abysmal. Is this an acceptable level of achievement still for you? It's not for me. Btw, Holly broke another record for the bad...1st time the Lady Vols have ever lost a 2nd round game.

Just my opinion. I do like JG a lot but think he will go with QD unless he absolutely just stinks it up. Will see some JG as well but people forget even the great Manning was a little shaky at first but the arm talent was there. So much goes into the QB position even before the ball is snapped. Both of these guys will struggle at times but it's going to be a lot on "managing" the offense.

This may not be popular but if you think Dobbs was anything more than an average passer then you weren't paying attention in games. 10 yard outs over thrown by 5 yards, forced throws to JM when Byrds running wide open. Screen passes on the flat thrown behind Hurd, exposing him even more than normal. Love what Dobbs did for the UT but his footwork really became a let down in his accuracy. You can see the reactions during the games from JJ, TB, JH. I for one think the passing game will be an upgrade with JG or QD at the helm.

If the line gives them time, they will be very accurate.

I guess I kind of understand now being an Indiana fan and wanting Crean fired. However, women's basketball is not nearly as competitive as the men. HW has been to 3 Elite Eight's in 5 years. That doesn't get you fired, but LV basketball is truly an elite program. I thought her first year was a great coaching job. This year they greatly underachieved.

One thing you have to understand about me when discussing women's basketball. It bores me to tears. I'm not pretending I care. I have zero emotional attachment to the UT women's basketball team.

My opinion is just that Holly is safe. She went to the elite 8 a year ago, she was hand picked by Pat and she has the number 1 class coming in. Who knows? Maybe Currie pops her in a week or two. I could be wrong.

But don't mistake me thinking she is safe for me thinking she is a good coach. I wouldn't know. I've never watched her teams play.

When you hear guys like Whitfield praising him, not really for his legs, but for his arm talent, it makes me optimistic. What really gets me excited is the way he talked about his presence. He carries himself like an elite QB.

With that said, if QD wins the job I think that will mean he is pretty dadgum good too.

As long as JG doesn't transfer I'm good with however it plays out.

It's the trajectory that's the problem. As far as I'm concerned, she's never coached well. She's out-talented other teams. That's not going to keep being the case if she can't win with them.

I don't really follow all of the talent from year to year, but I recall in her first year, she had a young team that was not deep. I expected a step back, and I just recall them surprising me, especially going to the Elite Eight.
