Article: Why the Cleveland Browns are a perfect fit for Josh Dobbs

It's weird when I agree with you, but I kinda do on this one. The Browns have to find a QB. I don't know that there's one in this draft. I like Watson a lot, but I still think there are some questions with him. He throws a lot of picks.

I don't know if Garoppolo is worth the price tag that's floating around, but he's a better option than anything that the Browns currently possess.

I also can't figure out why the Browns are willing to let Pryor walk. He's going to cost a lot, but they've got an obscene amount of cap space. He looks like their only legit weapon.

I don't think they end up letting Pryor walk. He wants to be there because of Hue and they need him. I think they end up getting a deal done.

I swear to everything holy if they draft Garrett number one and don't use him for a trade I'm going o jump off my roof just to end the madness.

If they don't take Garrett with the number one, then they are dumber than I thought. He may have the wish to play in Dallas, but you can bet that once he is selected and they give him 1st overall money, he will love being a Brown.

The kid walked into an interview with your company and said to your face... "well, I would really rather work for the company across the street, but I guess you are hiring and I need a job."

Is that someone you would hire? Is that someone you would give big money to? Are you going to let a kid barely old enough to drink work your organization like that? You telling me there are no other pass rusher in this draft?

Not to mention...he has issues with the cold...he stated outright he doesn't do well in the cold...LOL.

Give me a break, this is why you don't let the general public run your organization.

The more I think about this Garrett kid the more pissed off I get. What world am I living in? When did bazaaro world universe wormhole it's way into reality? I'm just going to wind up calling people out, I need a drink.... blahhhhhh

They need some offensive linemen you gotta get the big uglies right first. I know they are never flashy picks but you have to square them away. However, the O-line play in College with all the spread stuff is killing O-Line production coming into the NFL... I heard someone say that Cam Robinson is the best OL coming out and that guy has slow feet, great punch, vice grips but his body positioning never allows or (hardly ever) allows for those things to be used...

100% agreement, but there are just no splashy high picks available. I think the one everybody likes, or the one I heard about is a Wisconsin guy, or maybe it was an Arkansas guy.... I don't even know his name, shows you there just aren't any you want to pick with a first round choice. I heard about the O state center as well. Apparently he is very versatile. I'll tell I was surprised at how deep this class is with tight ends though. I wouldn't mind, and would be pleasantly surprised, if they grabbed a good tight end high. A lot of them in this draft.

A nice part of Precott and Elliott's success is because Dallas has one of, arguably the, best line in the league. Those two are obviously talented but it certainly helps when you've got those guys up front.

Cleveland is a bleak hellpit that sucks the life out of anyone who dares to go there. As soon as Dobbs was signed there the intellect and talent would be sucked right out his body.

You underestimate Dobbs mental toughness. And you forget how bleak the situation was when he got here and how by the time he left, not finishing the year in the top 10 nationally was seen as a failure.

If Dobbs can help lead Tennessee back from the gutter, he can do the same in Cleveland.

I'm not even a Tennessee fan, but you can go **** yourself for comparing the Vols to the frigging Browns.

Well, for most of the civilized world Cleveland has turned into a pretty great town. It's full of music and life and art and food and outdoor and things to do. It's big and sprawled so not too crowded and you have room to yourself. Cleveland is a great town.

Tennessee (by its high standards) had fallen to Cleveland Browns level of embarrassment. In 2013 they just completed their third consecutive 5-7 season. They were losing to Kentucky and Vanderbilt. For a proud all-time top 10 program that was being the Cleveland Browns.

My in-laws are from Cleveland.

I'm there multiple times per year.

That town is absolutely terrible.

No. Being the Cleveland Browns would be never having come close to the Top 10.

Didn't Cleveland win a bunch of NFL championships with Jim Brown? Plus they were pretty good in the mid 80s when John Elway was beating them in the playoffs.

So I'll have to disagree with you that Cleveland has always been a terrible franchise. They've just been really sad since 1999.

They have yet to even play in a Super Bowl. They won titles before games were broadcast in color.

They haven't won a playoff game since 1994.

Unless Bama players wind up with the Titans, I wish them the best, but don't really care if they succeed or fail.

That is 100% correct no team would be anything WITHOUT THEIR OLINE. Put on the tape if you watch coaches tape and watch Tyron smith and Martin... It's clinic stuff just smooth transitions and smart football.
