Litaker, Emerson and Lawless are all group chatting together? If we got all 3 ? My God, what a haul that would be and it would have to help with more in-state kids. Am I wrong in saying this is the best class in the history of Tennessee high school football?

I've been following recruiting for a long time and I don't recall a year like this...recent years have been close as you are seeing a clear increase in P5 level talent in this state...but this year is exceptional...

The thing that really stands out to me is the talent and depth in the trenches...we could legitimately fill our needs at OL and DT in this class without going out of state...I dont recall ever seeing that in two decades of following recruiting...not even close

This is easily the deepest pool of instate talent in recent years.

How are the Tri-Cities treating you? Miss Charleston at all?

We've been down here 10 years now and we are starting to get the TN itch. Thinking of heading back sometime in the next couple years.

Would be pretty cool if all three commit next JR day but I'd say prob only a shot at 2 of 3 as I can see Emerson dragging out his recruitment a while

It's going well...I definitely recommend it...I enjoyed my time in Charleston but it's just too dang crowded and expensive now...it's a great place to visit but we got really tired of living there and we have no regrets of coming back to the good land

Notice this offseason we're not rushing with trying to get commits soon like we did last offseason. We're being more patient but are still putting out tons of offers. We have got the state of Tennessee covered with offers to most/all of the big guns for 2018. Thanks!

Didn't CBJ make a comment about a scholarship from UT meaning something and once you get one, it's a committable one?

Really? I kind of get the impression that he might be the first of the bunch.

Lawless is the one I feel will take the longest.

Not that I recall, but if he did I imagine he would pretty quickly get called on it because that is clearly not true.

Would be amazing if all 3 did. I realize it probably won't happen, but you never know. It would be awesome.

Plus, Volatil said Litaker and Master Teague are childhood friends, and I have to like our chances with both if we land one.

If UT gets those 3, the DL recruiting would be more than less over with, add Mays and Alonte, and the Vols would win the state. Winning the state means something these days, because this is the greatest year in the history of Tennessee high school football, in D1 level talent. I know Wells is involved, but what a coup this would be for Hoke, in less than 45 days. I heard he could recruit but this would be monumental. Plus, these 3 kids are going to recruit their buddies in state and suddenly, Butch has a fence around the state and TN is back in the top 10 and top 3rd in SEC recruiting
