'18 DT TN D'Andre Litaker

I was in Louisville last weekend. I absolutely hated the town. Do not care to ever go back.

I went up for a Bruce Springsteen concert last year, and spent the next day going to the Louisville slugger bat company, the Ali exhibit, the horse track, and a couple of the distilleries up there. It wasn't a bad town not the best I have been to but not the worst.

Live a little over an hour away. There are a few things to do there but unless you are on the east end of Louisville, it's not nice at all. IMO

Bardstown road area is fun. Downtown has improved by light years in the last 15 years or so

Yeah they've got 4th Street live and that kind of stuff. Yum center has helped. I guess I'm just an old fart and don't do the bar scene anymore. Still can't believe Phoenix Hill caved. 😕

I did the demo on phoenix hill. Place was nasty, Louisville has some nice areas but the streets are falling apart and there's no parking. Leaders are awful. Bardstown road is fun along with nice places on the east side.

We had our annual OL/DL camp today and were blessed by the presence of Greg Emerson who came draped in UT gear rolling with Dandre who slid into Knoxville briefly after the Louisville trip. These guys are extremely close and want to play together in college.

Emerson looks college ready

Very much so but i definitely think he'll have to hit the weight room really hard. Over all my 2nd time seeing him and he looks better than the 1st time at the UT camp @ TSU. Kid has a great personality and was a pleasure to spend some time with today. I think the Vols are in a very good place with him.

Good news. We need all 3 of him, Litaker, and Lawless.

I have to take a client to Louisville in a few hours..10 hours of driving, and the client is having a ton of tests run, which means I'll be stuck there for probably 6-8 hours, yep a 16-18 hour day, and I really hate Louisville too...blech.

Well thanks to you guys, I found a part of Louisville I like. Bardstown road area is pretty cool. I don't totally hate Louisville anymore.

20 years ago when I was still running lights/sound for a band, we played at PH quite often. It seemed pretty nice back then. A friend of mine that owns a blues bar in Louisville said that PH went down after they started catering to "a different crowd". I won't get into whom that "different crowd" was according to him, but they sank pretty fast financially after that.

DL D’Andre Litaker (6-2 302) of Murfreesboro, TN visited USC Thursday to watch spring practice and was joined by three of his friends, two of whom also have USC offers.

ATH Alontae Taylor of Manchester, TN and 2019 WR Lance Wilhoite of Nashville also were in and have Gamecock offers. The other visitor in the group was DB/WR Jarek Campbell (5-11 195) who is Litaker’s brother.

Litaker was back for a second time to see the Gamecocks and he said he was impressed by the recent physical developments around the program including the plans for the new football operations center. But his primary reason for this visit was to watch practice and to continue relationship building with defensive line coach Lance Thompson.
