The best RB duo in the SEC next year

No he is not. That game was absolutely not on CFA. He will be the #2 back going into the Spring behind Kelly

Thus "just one of a thousand mistakes" and "it never should have been close" agrees with you, that game was not on CFA.

Was it Hurd that JD chewed out on the sidelines for the fumble? He wasn't even it the game. Ohhhh.

I agree on UGA. I'd also look at Bama. Think UT would fall somewhere in the 3-5 range in the SEC. Solid but a bit unproven after Kelly.

I think Kelly, CFA, Chandler and others aregoing to be really good before they leave the Hill. But this is why some fans are always disappointed--unrealistic expectations. To think we will have the best RB duo in the SEC next year is just not being realistic.

One, I'm pretty sure that was the A&M game. Two, it was supposed to be a play fake, which Dobbs neglected.

No, it was definitely the SC game. That was the play that Hurd refused to go in for, which is why CFA was in to begin with. After the fumble is when Dobbs went to Hurd on the sideline and proceeded to rip him.

Lord forbid we have a thread appreciating our players. Of course there are more experienced RB duos, but we will have a good stable. CFA will be a factor too.

It's annoying when people have to turn every single thing negative.

The best quote from Hurd, "We'll see.".

I hope he gets it together.

Get you some Ga!

No one ever said being the best would be easy. I like our chances.

Release the Beast!

Probably best not to use a quote from Hurd to try to make a positive point. We indeed did see....what's Jalen doing these days?

Otoh, I think a Kelly/Chandler combo is gonna be great for Tennessee these next two years.

I was gonna start quoting VFL34 to improve my stats.

It's a shame things turned out the way it did for Hurd.

There is no excuse for grown ups to give youngsters bad advice.

Last I heard he was still school shopping. I figured he would declare for the draft.

He is in the dog house for the SC game, when he knocked the ball out of JD's hand.

Snap and clear. Just one of a thousand mistakes in that game.

It never should have been close.

Guice ran wrong hole against Florida to lose that game. Guarantee that won't define him. These guys are trained to have that "next play" attitudes so CFA will be just fine.

I don't recall if CFA ever went back into the SC game.

I'm all for snap and clear. I'm glad he is on our team.

Two way street on the advice thing.....he may have gotten bad advice but he didn't have to take it, he's a grown man at 21.

Lol. That pretty much sums it up. Happens every year. What did Hoke say, we have a rabid fanbase. Not sure if that's a compliment or a bash lol

Amen, it's kinda ridiculous.
There's a time and place for realism. But our group would stand outside a department store explaining why we not allowed to purchase the #1 foam finger.

If kids take a pic bragging on their team and someone feels the need to 'correct' them, I suggest that person finds a new hobby. The point of just being a fan on occasion, appears lost to them.

Some folks mature earlier than others. Even at 21 he was acting immature. I agree it's on him how he handles himself.

John Kelly has a chance to be Tennessee's first Heisman trophy winner.

I firmly believe that.

I don't see how. CBJ typically has one loss that he shouldn't. In addition, I am not sure his offense features a RB. Hard to win Heisman when team doesn't exceed expectations and the player in question isn't featured.

So does JG and QD.

Everybody on 121 has a chance just by being on the team.

That's firmly the case.

Actually, statistically speaking, D4H's big swing projections are so historically poor you can just about write off Kelly's Heisman hopes based on that alone.
