For the record, here's your projections for Dobbs' stats on August 6.....

3,500 passing yards....actual was 2,946...off by 554 yards

67.5% completion.....actual was 63.0....off by 4.5%

32 passing TDs.....actual was 27.....off by 5

4 interceptions.....actual was 12.....off by 8

650 rushing yards.....actual was 831.....off by 181yds

13-0, SEC champs.....actual was 9-4, 2nd in SECEast

Heisman Trophy winner.......actual was 2nd team all-SEC

Not Ga Fl or Tn.
Our backs will be good enough if our Oline is good enough. Young back must learn pass protections to earn playing time. Let's hope kelly can stay healthy the first half season.

I don't think many people realize how much we're going to miss Kamara. It'll sink it when conference play starts, but I'm trying to be optimistic about these young guys.

The skill I that really impresses me about Kelly is his patience behind the line of scrimmage. He reminds me of Le'Veon Bell of the Steelers. He doesn't take off left or right or straight immediately, he's patient, watches his OL and then when he sees a hole he takes off. For a young guy like that to have that kind of patience and not just want to take off is awesome. I think if he adds a little more weight in the off season, we will truly be in a good place next year at RB.

I firmly believe that.

We got to create the lanes from the OL for him to run through. If the OL is mediocre then he is only going to run for about 900 yards and average 88 yards a game. We have the talent up front but very nervous about the new coach. If Kelly had a Tide OL in front of him, I would guess he would have about 1,400 yards.

I like Kelly, he has kept good form and attitude in waiting his turn. I hope he shines, I think he may with this next offensive line.
