The best RB duo in the SEC next year

Lord forbid we have a thread appreciating our players. Of course there are more experienced RB duos, but we will have a good stable. CFA will be a factor too.

It's annoying when people have to turn every single thing negative.

hm. all i've seen is the following ideas put forth:

Kelly will win a heisman

Keyll and Chandler are easily the best RB duo in the SEC.

CFA will have an impact as well.

GA returns Michel and Chubb, they're probably better.

GUice at LSU may be better.

Scarborough and Harris have a real chance to be great too.

i don't know that i've seen anything negative, especially in regards to the potential skill the players posses.

rather, it's been more....maybe pump the brakes on best in the SEC/heisman talk, and let's look at the rest of the landscape before we crown a true freshman and a guy that's got barely a 1/2 a season of reps.

hardly negative. and perfectly reasonable.

No, it was definitely the SC game. That was the play that Hurd refused to go in for, which is why CFA was in to begin with. After the fumble is when Dobbs went to Hurd on the sideline and proceeded to rip him.

You're right. It was SC. However it was alleged to be a miss play fake by Dobbs

CFA is getting overlooked. He is good. Not saying he will be first string, but he will be a factor.

Yep. I believe that he will have a good season this year. Gonna be a good one. He was a true FR that got logjammed behind 3 really good NFL probables.

Excited to see 3 quality RBs to open the season. And who knows, the other Fr may be able to game too?

Two way street on the advice thing.....he may have gotten bad advice but he didn't have to take it, he's a grown man at 21.

The idea that it's somehow extreme for adults to give bad advice shows a fundamental misunderstanding of adults.

I'm hearing Kelly has become one of the leaders on the team, so I never underestimate him... reminds me of Bama's first Heisman winner, Mark Ingram... Kelly could be a candidate if the team does well, and he has a couple of impact games against the top teams on our schedule...

I noticed a couple people spelling Bo Scarbrough's name with an extra o so figured I'd save you the extra keystroke. :p

Actually, statistically speaking, D4H's big swing projections are so historically poor you can just about write off Kelly's Heisman hopes based on that alone.

My predictions of Josh Dobbs stats last year were almost exactly on point. If we didn't have all those injuries we win more games and more of my predictions come true.

I agree 100% Plus they will have the best QB in the SEC. Just being real here people.

You can't be serious? At best he will be 3rd behind Hurts and Stidham with a valid argument that he is no better than MSU, UK, or Missouri's qb. His stats were very average last year

So the best example you have is coming close on Dobbs. Still short, but close is good. We'd take up too much bandwidth listing all your misses.

Besides, I've no need to defend that assertion to you...it's open for any poster to vet.

Some folks mature earlier than others. Even at 21 he was acting immature. I agree it's on him how he handles himself.

Don't disagree, but no one was holding a gun to his head, he was ultimately still free to take his own decision and chart his own course....he's 21 not 12.

No they weren't. You projected passing yards, yards per attempt, rushing yards and total touchdowns. You only got total touchdowns correct....and that depends on which projection we're talking about.

And as far as stat projections go, do you wanna discuss any other players' numbers? Say, Hurd's (1,500-1,800 yards)? Or Preston Williams' (1,300 tds and 15 tds)?

CFA is a really talented back.

Just not very big.

Chandler is a tough explosive back

Ditto for John Kelly.

We'll get the same amount of production from the RB spot. Maybe more.

Dormady throwing the football is going to make us hard to stop offensively.

I think we are top 5 in RB talent in the SEC.

Bama
UGA
LSU
are all in front of us.
