If the US can't discriminate based on Nationality with its immigration policy, why have one? Wouldn't we simply be open border?

If the security of the nation is really at stake, as Trump claims, then why not amend the executive order to remove the problems cited by the courts? It could easily be done. There is only one explanation. Trumps own ego is more important to him than national security.

In the event of an attack by anyone coming in recently, through the time of any ultimate court resolution, it's not on the judges. It's on Trump.

That's not remotely true. If your buddies in the 9th and those fleabags marching at airports were truly doing the "right" thing by opposing this EO, then there'd be nothing to fear and no attack at all because every single one of these vagabonds crossing over our borders is a "good" person.

If an attack were to occur as a result of their opposition, then they would be directly responsible for the bloodshed.

Trump says stopping immigration is needed to prevent terrorism.

Trump has power to remove the threat by simply revising order.

Trump refuses because his being right is more important to him than national security.

Terrorism occurs due to lag in fixing it, it's his fault.

I don't remember us letting Germans and Japanese pour in here during.WW II.. we have no idea what these people are their intentions or anything from these known terrorist countries. The stupidity of the people who let people pour in here is absolutely unbelievable

There are about 50 muslim countries in the world.

The EO temporary restrictions on travel affects only 7 countries in a geographical region of high instability.

Devout Muslims from THE REST OF THE FRICKIN WORLD, you know-like 43 NATIONS are not affected at all and are and have been welcome and are freely coming and going.

To continue to call the EO a "ban based on religion" is either ignorance or a bold faced lie; and calling it that can only be based on liberal/regressive (nothing progressive about them) kneejerk gonna fight tooth and nail anything the Trump administration puts forward hardheadedness.

There may indeed be other legal reasons the EO on temporary travel restrictions needs rewriting. But religion is not one of them.
