Who gives a crap about national rankings, i only care about what we were in conference rankings..middle of the pack..
I am going to be consistent here because there was a time when everyone thought this Florida class would be ridiculously bad.
You saw those recruiting rankings. Every SEC team has to beat four-five teams who are recruiting top level talent. In Florida's case, we've also got FSU.
Nobody wins on talent alone. No one. You have to have the talent to compete, but that's not enough because everyone's got talent.
And before people mention Saban, Meyer, etc., and their classes, let the record show that they began winning before they started pulling in those classes year after year.
Saban and Alabama were 12-0 and ranked #1 heading into the SEC title game in year 2 in 2008.
Tressel left Ohio State and they go 6-7 in 2011. They went 12-0 the next season with Urban.
They reach the potential of the talent they sign. A lot of coaches wouldn't.
